Either way, BEFORE you switch to mage you need to get your mage profs up asap, its not going to be fun switching to mage with 0.00 profs.

You can get your staff and divine profs up by fighting FSM in mage gear once you get to Level 190 (spirit shield is fun).

You could grind in cake mode, but for myself I don't have the time, FSM is great for grinding personally.

You can get your cloth profs up by switching to all cloth Earthwalker/Priestess gear

Well, I don't mind anyone posting questions here, as here's the chat thread, where anyone should be allowed to ask about anything.

If you want to switch to mage, I would suggest getting at least 100 in elemental prof. first.
Just grind using elementalist staff and you'll soon get to that level.
After doing so should you start training on staff and clothes.
At least this path should be easier.

Personally I would suggest dealing with legendary girls with divine spells to gain prof. instead of FSM.
You can grind prof. with FSM, but you'll waste 3 tokens of blood.
At least the legendary girls should be quite easy at normal, even for a guy with 0 prof.
If you feel that's too easy, try raising the difficulty.

and yeah, i think you'll have an easier time swapping to mage once u get spirit shield up. on the +side, your prof will gain really fast since it's so relatively low atm i assume

sry for answering this but I was unsecure about pushing a controversy in HV. Meleee has its advantages, but as I learned recently, that are definitley not short fights.
And I'd rather discuss a controversy in a general chat thread than in a specific experts thread.

Same here. I thought I wouldn't be able to stop but surprisingly, it was easier than I imagined when I went on hiatus for a couple of months, which was certainly refreshing. Ironically, I find it that I'm more stressed playing HV than when I'm not despite not having to attend classes.

I didn't really do a great deal of gambling, but I ended up ahead about $50 dollars. Minus cost of the room, minus meals, minus various shows I went to, etc. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

One of the friends I went with won $2500 though. Bastard.

Unless Tens just means legendary stats relative to his own. In that case there are quite a few. or I'm assuming that. I don't think Tens has ever shown anyone his gear, or even sold anything in WTS.
