Changing the exponent to 1.24 would mean players would encounter higher level monsters. Why would he lower the EXP bonus if players were fighting harder monsters?

The discussion is likely irrelevant anyway because he probably won't change the encounter formula. I do think it's silly that Tenseigamoon, you and myself now can't encounter Eila even though we can all beat her easily.

On normal you have nothing to fear. Use spirit shield and slaughter them whichever way you desire.

Indeed, normal mode should be an utter cakewalk, I've done upto battletoads just macing, I doubt I'll have the patience for IWBTH though

lol. I'm truly terrible at this game. I died in the level 150 arena because I wasn't paying attention, grinding out prof with the last of my mana and let the remaining boss spirit attack me while agitated.

I would actually like to try maging trio on heroic, I don't think Trio will be more difficult than FSM...I mean at normal

Eh, I've always cleared them easily without spark of life. Plus I'm greedy with my mana, I rather grind more prof than spend 50 mana on spark, lol. I just need to remember to pay attention, and don't let the bosses get a full spirit bar. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Just wait for the level 300 Arena. Meleeing this was one of the stupidest things I have done in my HV Carrier.

Maging normal Arenas is fun if you want/need to save time. 50-70 minutes to do everything up to T&T, even with really crappy gear. XP blows, though.

Also, I'll borrow what Grahf said earlier. I had the best equipment drops out of my two normal arena runs so far.
