thatwas pretty tough if you go from start. probably would have been easier solved in reverse

No. Playing on hard/heroic or any other difficulty makes no difference in the drop chance. The arena token clear bonus is 50% healing, 25% chaos/blood. There's really nothing you can do except try again tomorrow.
