Not completely sure but I think the afk time is included, could be done 3 to 4 hours, but kinda long still. Mainly because I played a knightly coward style asking all the monster to queue up and 1v1 me. :/ And I have not forged my weapon and STR that much. (5260 attack base damage when going into 99F)

I remember there was a person asked if he could stay sane playing higher floors of the Tower, seems like human doesn't break so easily. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

That was me : ). I am playing the "chivalrous" style as well. I do have almost twice as much Attack Damage though. Hopefully will reach ten thousand before floor 100. I would rather throw additional funds at it than suffer in The Tower for more than an hour at a time.

Hi, to overcome the Tower floor 99, how many turns does a light-armored 1H-Shield warrior need?
I just finished floor 96 with 13,895 turns today. It's like hell.

Also, I wonder if this is a recent update?
After used, the battle items will no longer disappear from slots any more, but now remain their names in gray, like spells in cooldown.

I see that heavy-armors do suffer fewer turns from Tower.
Never knew that one can clear 99F in 7000 turns with dual-wielding!

Dual-Wield plus Power armour is much faster, but it is simultaneously quite a bit more dangerous. The more you forge the better, obviously. lololo16 has been posting updates on his journey in the unofficial discord channel. If you wish to know more from someone who actually knows what he is talking about, then you should poke him. He has been quite helpful with my inquiries as well.

For comparison, floor 85 took me 53~ minutes and 7000~ turns.

Currently there're 76 players who reached 100F.

Do you want Economizer lvl5? Generally, people want Penetrator Lvl5, and either Archmage or (more likely) Spellweaver Lvl4.

Also, The Item World should be updated soon(ish) with a system whereby the potencies will not be random anymore, so it might be worth it to wait to save money (or sanity).

it's a nice staff, it deserves better than economizer. Really, that's useless. But if you must, just IW to 10 from where it is now has a decent chance of getting economizer 5. There are IW services on the forum. But personally, I would want perfection on a peerless staff. Waiting may be wise, although it may still take months until there is an update of the iW. If you aren't patient, then just IW this now.

I think the aim is that costs should be comparable with now on average, just not random. So no more lucky no cost J5C5 on the first try either. But the real bad IW cases will be gone forever.

true, but the effect isn't great. Effect of gear quality is greater. I'd prefer a peerless fire staff over a good legendary cold staff any day.

I thought about it the same way before this season, but then I found that the fire debuff is maybe better in the Tower.
I have tried Holy mage + dark debuff/cold debuff/wind debuff, fire mage + cold debuff/wind debuff. I'll use the number of spirit potions/elixirs consumed as a metric.
Wind and dark/fire debuffs are generally better.
I'm not sure if my gut feeling is correct since the samples are too small.

Here is my intuition:
Assume number means monsters attack at this tick, number means attack power. ` means 10 ticks. * n means n monsters attack at this tick. | is where the player finished the critical action, killing most of the monsters

In this case, the cold debuff would delay 10*3 to the right of |, which means we have killed most of the monsters. This often happens outside of the tower.
In the tower, it becomes
```10*2`````10*3`10*4.....................................|
More ``` give player more turns to cooldown potion and cure. But what if 10*4 is enough to kill the player?
As we can see, they have the same action speed, so the cold debuff doesn't help in this case. But fire and wind do.
Wind guarantees 10% damage reduction. Fire guarantees a 10% reduction in damage/spirit point.
But cold debuff's performance oscillates. In a long round like the Tower, you would encounter the worst case often. It only helps at the beginning (casting other debuffs) and at the end (killing most of the monsters)
