Would be nice if we could at least test/see how slow shit is before we start runs too. Sucks buffing up for an hour and then bam, massive lag. Random Encounters aren't really reliable enough since it's on and off. Need something that tracks the connection for a bit.

Edit: Damn, right now it's so bad I CAN tell from random encounters, lol. Glad I didn't start yet.

Glad that I'm not the only one experiencing this slowness...

I thought it was my router which was the issue and was restarting it.

Don't know what's causing the slowness you're seeing. It's normal for me, there are no overloads on our end, and the ping is good even from across the pond.

Edit: Looks like one of the backbone carrier routes has very high latency at the moment. I have alerted the host of the issue, but try not using alt if you are.

Very slow right now and switching to regular non-alt isn't seeming to help. Maybe change things up a bit and got better for a bit (still not normal speed) but after a few minutes got back down to 1 turns/second on both alt and normal.

Oh noes I'm trapped in the Tower and I'm gonna die. :(

Floor 40 clear - 30 minutes
Floor 41 clear - 40 minutes
Floor 42 clear - 43 minutes
Floor 43 clear - 33 minutes (soulfused my poopy rapier plus started using infusions, now that nearing my season's end)
Floor 44 clear - 36 minutes
Floor 45 clear - 41 minutes
Floor 46 clear - 46 minutes
Floor 47 clear - 54 minutes (laggy, switched between alt and normal many times)

Hurray, I survived! Only 2 days left until the end!

Well, like I said, it's not an issue on our end nor on our host's end, but a carrier backbone issue which is beyond our control. If you use alt you'll definitely be affected, but if you don't you may be affected depending on whether your traffic goes over said backbone or not.

At your Level it's very easy to find useful Set there.

I also forgot who used to be lending a lot of equipment for free. I think it might have been "hc br" but maybe I remember wrong, also this was more than 2 years ago. If more recently, it was probably someone else.

Last night was really very bad (~1.7 t/s). Today during the day it was slowly improving (2.0 t/s ---> 2.3 t/s). A few minutes ago it was almost normal (2.7 ~ 2.8 t/s).

The main site continues better than alt.

Today is almost as bad for me as yesterday. I'm going to have to postpone my final Tower Floor 49 indefinitely due to the internet, which is not what I had expected to stop me.

Unless maybe it's the time of day I've been choosing to play at, as I only used this time of day for the past 2 days, when things were horrible.

I also wonder if this game being slow is related to my internet in general having trouble and being slow in games and some things in general. For example, I haven't really been able to watch live YouTube streams from Japanese vtubers for the past half year (English sources are fine). And when I tried to play in a Japanese event last weekend, it was all messed up and couldn't get the game started, and when it did I couldn't move properly and I died fast.

(I assume my opponent was the same so it was fortunate that I died because when things are like that I feel the blame should fall on the foreigner).

No dice. I can vouch that it's bad at every time of the day.
It tends to come and go. I'll get a normal speed random encounter and decide "what the heck", start an Arena, and 3 rounds in it becomes unbearable again. Thanks to Tenboro for the FYI. I'll have to sit out until things with the third party improve.

FYI, I did receive an update from the host that the IX has confirmed the problem and that they are working on figuring out exactly what is fucked, but no resolution yet.

Pretty sure I'm not wearing a Robe, and my prof gain looks to confirm that.

Edit: Took 2 and half hours. I was also missing gloves somehow.

Last two days were very good indeed. Seems it was the issue in question, which was solved.

I am really not sure what's going on but I've been having some insane lag this whole time and I don't know what's causing it... If it's fixed on your end it's definitely not fixed on mine and I don't have this kind of insane latency on any other website.

Extreme lag has disappeared too on my end both yesterday and right now. Hopefully it can continue like this and stabilize for everyone soon.
