Also visited a bookmark for a very old site I visited every once in a while and to my surprise it was dead. Digging a bit it seems that happened just a couple years ago, very sad, makes you appreciate that places like this are still up...for now.

Which floor are you and how are your equipment and numbers?

In my case I'm still on floor 49. Even with the reduction in the number of rounds, I kept the same strategy of previous seasons: climbing to 40th floor, stop for a while, climb to level 360 and only then return to the tower. I take this break to improve my equipment, spending less credits.

Obviously for those who will stop on the floor 50 none of this is necessary. You can rise straight without many investments, with lower equipment and low numbers.

Also visited a bookmark for a very old site I visited every once in a while and to my surprise it was dead. Digging a bit it seems that happened just a couple years ago, very sad, makes you appreciate that places like this are still up...for now.

We're pretty much at the same spot then, I stopped at floor 50 and I have two sets. Here are the details if curious:



As you said it's hard to justify investing more when not necessary but well, you know how it goes when leveling up, it starts getting slower and slower for all styles unless you get better equips and/or forge a bit to keep up, but even then it might not be enough to keep your speed.
Slept through the last isekai auction too so missed an equip that could've been nice to have. But even with top tier equips getting the necessary trophies via self drops just consumes quite a bit of time and since I play a conservative amount the Snowflake goal moves along rather slowly which makes it feel like quite an excruciating experience. The upside is that the isekai wallet also goes up slowly so guess there's something positive to come out of that, you know, it gives ya something to look for when the season ends and transfers are done and all.
Persistent on the other hand is just abandoned, poor thing, never had a chance to even get a legendary or peerless staff for the Noni event (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

A bit embarrassing to post my sets as from what I see from the posts above you have quite a bit of forging done so you probably just destroyed the last tower floors with ease, or maybe you have your sights set on floor 100 this time? Or will you just focus on getting your dream gears from the vouchers? Which are those by the way? A savage slaughter perhaps? Or a "color" armor is enough as long as it has the suffix you want?

You are right. Even with good equipment and a little upgrade (in my 1H+Power set, which is what I use in the tower), my time worsened fast over the last 2 floors. And unfortunately the upgrade materials are very expensive in ISEKAI. Most of the upgrades I made were in the DW+Shade set, which I only use in SG arenas (because it's cheaper and helped me a lot to climb the forge level).

Peerless Savage Power Helmet of Warding
Peerless Savage Power Armor of Warding
Peerless Shielding Plate Gauntlets of Protection

This is the missing equipment for me to complete my heavy collection.

Well I don't think I could clear a single floor with set 2 as it currently is, what_is_name may be willing with enough forging, but not me heh. And it may not look like it but set 1 is actually pretty relaxed in the tower, not exactly braindead but it does exactly what I need it to do when I want it to do it. Either that or I'm just too used to the beatings.

Yeah the tower slowly but steadily sucks time once you're past 40, I probably I lost a minute per floor when clearing it once PFUDOR hit. I think the problem is high grade materials aren't the most abundant even when if they do drop naturally so it's tough if you wanna forge a lot, and the catalyst cost adds up too, but at least it's not like that first isekai season where everyone was buying things crazy high prices, some higher than the persistent ones, now THAT was expensive. Good thing that era is long gone and over with.

Well since you already invested in the stuff and still have enough time to skip tower here and there it could be a good chance if you wanna climb that high, then again it takes just enough time that passing on that is also a wise choice, guess time will tell what you decided to do, probably once we see you duking it out with max tower power in the record section we'll know for sure (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Damn 6 vouchers, feel so puny struggling for even one. I suppose you'll be done with isekai before me then unless you climb to floor 100. Oh but warding? I swear I had one of those but probably it was a repeat of yours. Seems the difficult part is getting the Savage and Shielding prefixes and once you roll that you're good to go because every power armor drop ever is Warding or Protection (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) So only 3 pieces, you're quite close actually. At this point its only a matter of time, but good luck anyways.

well there're lots of rich guy forging a lot in Isekai than me I guess, as my setup is only the junk Magnificents, I only spent my ISK income. and I don't think I can go further in tower with this set too, my aim is only floor 50, and I don't know if I will stop playing Isekai in some time so I just finish it earlier if I can

Makes sense, once the tests are done there's no reason to repeat so no need to forge special sets that much anymore. But then again it isn't so bad, taking it easy and living a relaxed and slow life in isekai with the blessings of the Snowflake goddess only to start from zero again with a cheat item (peerless) when you get summoned again as a noble wise handyman with knowledge of many past isekai lives.

I don't think many people get useful stuff out of themto be fair, but you never know when it's your time to get lucky (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
