How can that killing blows thing be accurate when people lose to them while they're watching TV? It doesn't have anything to do with the monster itself or how strong they are, they're just not paying attention during the battle.

I'm collecting stats on how tough the player monsters are both in defense and offense and I am finding that most of them are soft and die too quickly to get good stats except for Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen. This one is a little too good and I have to poison it so as to kill it a little faster to keep it from using its skill attack which can almost one shot me on heroic.

I haven't leveled in 6 months and you just now caught up to me. (IIRC, I was second only to Hito and possibly Tens in level) Had the monster lab existed when I stopped playing, my monster would be a terror at a level far beyond you can comprehend. (Seriously, did you see the loot I gave away in January? If it wasn't the best collection of equipment in the game, there is no way it was not in the top 3)

Has anyone else noticed how common dragonhide drops are since the latest patch? I think out of my last 10 light armor drops, I had something like 7 dragonhide, 1 shade, and 2 leather.

That and gossamer. Running a shop made me realize the depreciated value of gossamer armour prices at the Bazaar because of the removal of silk armour.

That's because the elemental related ones have a lower drop rate. (I remember Tenboro saying somewhere that they don't have an equal drop rate within an equipment type.)

gossamer fox has to be very good for me to use it over a lower INT fox/phase and to go with a higher burden. I tossed out some 17-18 INT gossamer today.

I'm almost positive it was the definitive collection. (IIRC Hito was interested in almost every piece I gave away) Had I kept it and put it to use, I would have a monstrosity capable of downing the FSM.
