The last time this happened was during that case of the "end of the site". That time everyone was running to sell Hath and buy GP to download the galleries before the site was closed. Good thing the site is not over that day. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Person'ly, I think Hath price must go lower still. Reasons being, most active players already have got the useful/important perks (so they're in no hurry to buy) while the lowering price suggests to sell quickly to those that have a constant supply.

Barred big unexpected surprises in the future HV release, I'm waiting to see 2200 or even 2000.

EDIT: Possibly, the reason why it hasn't reached 2000 still, and it even had a brief glitch recently back to 2800 or so, is simply due to people preferring to donate their hoard of Haths for competitions rather then selling them (eventually even buying a bit), therefore reducing the sell pressure.

I don't think so. The price of GP went from 305 to 333 credits. The variation was small compared to what happened in the past, when the price of the GP reached more than 1,000 credits (and the price of Hath fell from 6,000 or 5,000 to less than 2,500). The drop in Hath's price has more to do with the stagnation of the game.

Even if new Hath Perks are created, the price should rise for a while, but tends to fall again over time. This variation depends on the number of active players.

I do get ~40Hath/day, and own 10.5k at this moment...

to get every level of Dæmon Duality, i do need 170k ( didnt bought any yet )

so i do need at least 160k Haths...
at a rate of 40/day it will take *doing math* 4000 days....
which is barely 11 years..... 😅

Pretty much, looking closely at hath for periods of time makes you aware that most of the walls holding the price at certain brackets are mostly held by single individuals. And once the wall goes down so does the price along with their demand. No matter how cheap gears or materials are if people still struggle to get their first 300 hath, and once that's done most leave so there's not an extreme demand for hath to begin with by more casual users. And if the ones that need the hath already have everything, well, it just happens to go down. We should reach 2200 relatively soon™ from the looks of it.

Yeah it's a gamble and it could go up or down with a new update, but as Basara said it will only be temporary before it goes down again. Even if the price tanks I expect it to have some resistance somewhere in the 1000s where there will be new demand by people who have most of the perks they want (DD9 and stuff) as they'll suddenly go after a new goal of buying them all, even the more useless ones as an extra goal because "it's cheap". But they'll probably be the last line of defense before we reach the golden era of 3 digit haths (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Do it gacha game style. You need to pay 10 haths per day for a chance to pay 100 haths per day to get a 15% damage boost but the boost expires at 00:00 GMT+0 of the next day.

Guess didn't expect people creating threads asking to rise the price of hath perks (actually most seem to be new perk ideas, funny ones at that) and it actually going through, silly me. Missed the panic buys and didn't get to see the bottom of the sell column so hopefully someone managed to grab a snapshot for curiosity's sake.

I feel bad for all the newer users from the "goal to play HV" thread trying to save 300 Hath for the MPV perk.

Wouldn't surprise me if the MPV hath cost jumps from 300 to 1,000+ next week when TenB raise the perk costs.

EDIT: Tenboro has listed the price changes in the hath change thread and MPV isn't on the list, so my point is now moot.

Sorry guys, I probably jinxed it (the last time I publicly recommended an eroge site, the site was shut down about a week later).

On a more selfish note, I need a reason to stop playing HV since it's taking up an unhealthy ±3 hours of my day. Hopefully this change will provide that.

EDIT: Welp, I already have most of the affected perks except for the monster related ones and favorite notes (which I never use). Oh well.

I managed to see the end of the sell column. I don't remember exactly the value, but I don't think it was "too high" (less than 30,000). This is due to the fact that the large sales volume in a short period of time. Probably there was no time for new salespeople to put their offerings, so most of the offers left at that time were between 3,300 and 6,000 (or 7,000, I don't remember for sure), and in the end there were only 3 values above 10,000.

Yesterday I managed to buy for 3,000. At that moment I thought I had paid a high amount (others managed to buy for lower values). Looking at today's values, I think I was lucky and paid little. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
