Auction Return: 2,666,500
I'll run auctions how I please, thx.
And I've autobid for every person that's asked, so there's zero argument for timezone disparity impacting the end of auctions.

might have to do something about that soon.

QUOTE(Rei-Tenshi @ May 28 2011, 01:12) Really, I don't see the reason why last minute bidding is so frowned upon. You don't want to be sniped at the end? Then make a really large bid on what you want. If you really want it. Or instead of auctions taking multiple days, just announce beforehand that you will do so-and-so auction X days from now and do all the bidding on that day. The only reason I always do last minutes is so I don't have to make a bid, wait X hrs for others, outbid that, wait another X hrs, outbid them again, wait again, etc etc. With a countdown looming, everything is over in around 15 mins.
I think I will start doing the same. I kept checking the bids to see if anyone showed the same interest on an item. After several days, nobody did. Then, boom, the bidding action begun in the last 2 hours. The time I spent before just went to the drain. Lesson learned. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Of course I don't mean to suggest changes to your auction system, Sir hito. i would just like to see if some alternative way works. No offence to current system.

Of course we can always throw ideas and suggestions around without any intended offence. It's just that if anyone who reads these find it more convenient to run, well I guess by all means they should go for it.

Wha, really? That's silly, I thought I've been getting 7% per rank. Then I should really unlock my last aura slot and grab the blue aura as well. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) There's always level 150 I guess. I have no aura points left now.

Another limitation for blind auctions are that you can only do such an auction for a very limited set of items. It simply isn't sufficient for processing a moderate or larger set of equipment to be sold. Not only that, but it casts into darkness what should be out and open in the light. I don't really think blind auctions are a great idea on a large scale.

I would throw some Crystals at him on a normal Auction. But I don`t bother with blind Auctions.

QUOTE(dcherry @ May 27 2011, 22:29) only T&T has no customs? all other arenas do? Check out the Arena page on the wiki. Any arena that has only 1s in bold blue text has no customs. This is because Tenboro designed the system to always put at least 1 original common monster in each round. Thus, rounds which have exactly 1 common monster only have an original one. In simpler terms, every arena starting with Feast for Crows has either 0 customs, or so few that they're negligible. The one exception is To Kill a God, which has at least 2 common monsters in every round, giving a high chance of encountering customs throughout the arena.

I agree. I tried doing blind auctions and it was quite tricky and a lot of PMs to send. Most likely because I didn't use deadlines, but rather a "last bidder standing" type of approach. If I had to do that for multiple items, I would have hit the daily PM limit so fast. QUOTE(buktore @ May 29 2011, 02:19) Back to HV after about 5 days... I think I've never had a custom-less round on To Kill A God. Which actually makes for a perfect IWBTH arena. Right off the bat, you can have a Neptunia or Liselotte or another 500 PL custom. Combine that with great status, IWBTH and the arena multiplicator and you've got yourself an EXP blowout. The difficulty is also relative since you only face so many monsters at a time and can either sleep or stun the others while you whittle them away, without having to chug godly mana pots each round. This is not, however, for making Credits. Not at all. This post has been edited by flint: May 29 2011, 08:50

That almost makes the earlier arena challenges scarier then right? Since you can spawn 3+ commons in those ones still (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Man, I'm currently butting against EoD. Is it manageable as melee or should I just give up?
