- currently no development ongoing, will "probably get back to it eventually"
- reason is lack of motivation after the toxic reactions to the search engine update
- isekai will probably not be fixed seasons anymore, but run from update to update
- isekai will then mainly exist for testing purposes, but still with 'pay out' to persistent
- damage bonus from isekai will be maxed to 10% / floor 100 but that was previously announced

I don't really care the Progress of HV and the Gallery, for me the People here is much more important und precious than the Website itself, not only he but also you, Nezu, Scremaz and all the Players.

I hope the search engine response won't keep Tenboro down. It may have altered our beloved search UI, but the new one is just as good. Better really, once we get used to it. Plus the major efficiency improvement, which keeps the site running as it gets more popular. I just counted 18 updates to the search engine after the original post. That is way more than we deserve.

I'm excited for the changes teased for HV. Cores for upgrading to peerless, IW rework, maybe even some version of tower coming to persistent! Heck, I'd be excited for a new Isekai season with no HV update at all. The collective early bird equipment seeking mania and tower climbing excitement before we get tired and slow down. Plus getting our Isekai loot transferred to persistent.

It was expected to be honest. Thing is hobby-tier and fixing dates for stuff seems like a good idea to "force" oneself to do some work, but it only works for so long until real life gets in the way, you get burnt out or something.
This is the point where it seems reasonable to climb to floor 100 due to the extended damage bonus period, then I remember doing so chains you to daily tower for at least another 50 days (if already on floor 50) and I lose all the motivation to even consider it.

If it's not too hard on you or your wallet it's always a good time to do so. Then again the guy spit out a fully functioning market from scratch in a few weeks so I wouldn't be surprised if, on a whim, the update came out all of a sudden. Just because.

Suggestion: The Hole (in Bazaar, Isekai only)
- Isekai Peerless and soulfused equipment can be transferred to Persistent through the hole. (Not at the end of the season, but at any time)

Why? To promote play and trade in Isekai.
- A level 300 (persistent) player want to use legendary power equipment, but will not buy it in the Isekai server.
Because he won't be able to use that until the end of the season, and by then he'll be preparing a mage.
- A level 500 player who uses 50%-ish equipment will not buy 70%-ish Isekai equipment.
Because he can't use the equipment immediately and he can acquire or purchase 80%-ish equipment before the equipment is transferred to the Persistent.
- I bought some equipment to use in the persistent, but have to wait. At least a few months, or years? Nobody knows.

This would be a good use of Soul Fragments. Maybe pay 10k Soul Fragments to transfer a Legendary and above quality equip?

<tenboro> Noni: probably not. biggest issue being that the equipment data could be incompatible with isekai and persistent if they're on different versions

nine08 very kindly gave me his club and I finally get to test it today.

It was very effective for PGC & REs, as the stun makes a lot of fights, including the hard-hitting bosses, trivial. It wasn't as effective in Eternal Darkness and non-SG arenas where sheer damage is preferred. Another thing I noticed is that it requires very active play. With club, you have to keep bonking every single monster, while with bleed weapons, you need to focus on 4-5 monsters before hitting them with Frenzied Blows.

HVUtils has a toggle at the top to change difficulties and personas from whatever page you're at, including different sets of course. There was a problem where the toggle didn't prompt Monsterbation to change your settings accordingly until you reloaded/went to another page, e.g. bazaar, but it seems what_is_name might have fixed that with the latest update to Monsterbation if I understood correctly. Have been lazy to update to that version so haven't tested if everything works smoothly now but probably it does. Surely...

Does anyone know if there is a known issue with random encounters? Whenever I click one, it just opens up the HV in the character window, and I don't get any encounter.

Okay, this is weird. I tried a bunch of different things in Firefox (my standard browser), but nothing seemed to work. Then I tried Chrome, which did work (so I did get an encounter), but also had a different character that I recall making a while back. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
