Time to actually play more than a RE again? Last year was a disaster though. 21 coupons out of 139 chances -> 15.1%. That felt very bad.

So I bought the Enigma Energizer Hath Perk and apparently the Riddlemaster was very much against such behavior they didn't show up once in the remaining 200 or so arena rounds I had today.

I have wondered for a few months if the Riddlemaster appearance timings had been affected in the last patch or two.

I noticed that now:

a) If you don't get the common Riddlemaster right at the end of round 1, you can still get one as early as the end of round 2 (rarely of course). Based on years of prior experience, if the round 1 Riddlemaster didn't occur, you used to be safe from all Riddlemasters for ~20 turns minimum. Maybe it was my imagination.

b) Riddlemasters seem to be able to not show up for a longer period of time. I think before you would be guaranteed a Riddlemaster after 30~40 turns. Now I have gone as long as 80 turns with no Riddlemaster, although usually you'd still get one before 50 turns pass. Maybe my memory fails me again.

there're only 2 certain fact for riddle: it never appear in the first round of arena/rob; there is a significantly higher chance in the 2rd round. beside that the riddle chance is totally random I think, there is no guaranteed appear or guaranteed not appear turns limit, either encounter them 5 times in a row or not encounter in 1000 turns can happen if you play tons a lot I guess.
BTW the overall riddle chance for my 2 months play (arena mostly) is 1.44% (929/64292), not encounter riddle for 200 turns is not really that rare thing

There aren't that many tokens won even in those lotteries, meaning it's not just brute force through tons of GP invested, so I hope this player also try the real lottery if he really has luck of the draw.

BTW the overall riddle chance for my 2 months play (arena mostly) is 1.44% (929/64292), not encounter riddle for 200 turns is not really that rare thing

I don't have the hard number but in my case it's about 1 encounter per arena. It's back to normal today so, just like with Orbital Friendship Cannon, it seems there's a delay before the perk is activated. During that delay, you don't encounter Riddlemaster.

they're quite general in RE, actually I'm quite suffering of that, I missed quite amount of riddle in RE due to my poor network and distracted. But I don't remember that I have suffered that at the start of arena, even I have play arena for years with same poor network, if there's some then I should have noticed that. But anyway that's my guess only, they could be the same as random riddle in other rounds maybe

Edit: checked 993 FSM records in both Isekai and Persistent there is no riddle appears, no arena data as I didn't recorded that, not enough sample to say the conclude maybe. don't know if it's the same in the first round of GF/IW as I didn't play them much
