When I think about it, it's sad that months ago, I used to be terrified of Mind Rapers. Now it's like "meh, this hurts less than those random custom monster agitation crits.



oh just so I don't totally derail the current convo, I turned in a bunch of trophies right after the update, and got 4 phase. 2 fox, 1 owl, 1 niflheim. I don't use ice magic, so I don't know what to do with my niflheim piece. Maybe auction it if there's enough interest.

I have detected what appears to be a critical flaw in the Hentaiverse.

I first discovered the problem while browsing the Events and Monster Battles thread, where I noticed Azusa Hiiragi encountered Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke here (he always seems to meet The Strike Witches in his random battles). As you can see in the log it lists her name with a lower case 'd':

Unforgivable! Worse still is this isn't the only instance of this problem. Marcho just contacted me about the spelling of Perrine-H. Clostermann pointing out that it should be an upper case 'h'. I changed the Hentaiverse font to use Arial and, as you can see, I entered both an upper case 'd' in and an upper case 'h':

It therefore seems that letters following a dash are being dropped to lower case in the Hentaiverse log.

The names of the Strike Witches absolutely must be presented correctly so fixing this is a matter of the highest possible urgency. Forget nonsense like a second quick-cast bar and language filtering in the galleries, resolving this issue must become the primary action item.

Back after 0.5, Tenboro patched a function in that automatically adjusts the capitalization of all monster names for battles only. It should be trivial to remove, which I asked for when he introduced renames in 0.5.1, but he hasn't delivered.

Of course, the system would also have to be modified so that it didn't use the HV font for entering monster names. Otherwise people wouldn't notice they were doing it wrong. Same goes for attack names.

Renames to fix capitalization are free and Skills are like Spirit Attacks. If you fuck it up more than twice, you should just leave. The all caps HV font is dumb, though. I remember when the battle log was this stupid curly ass font you couldn't read. Thank god Tenboro changed it to something reasonable.

I am well on my way to getting raped on Nintendo T&T. Idk why I thought I could do this. Round 87/100, I've used 4 (going on 5) mana elixirs, 15 shield scrolls, and several infusions. 1. I can't take them all out with a banish/ragnarok combo yet, the spells just aren't powerful enough. 2. Even with shield scroll and shadowveil, if I get unlucky something like this happens.

I've tried divine and darkness infusions. I'm currently using a demon-fiend build with a good katalox staff. There's little point in using my old holy set, since it's all heimdall with relatively tiny EDB's since the update.

There really are no reason to go demno fiend gear on T&T even more so since you dont have access to soul burst, you are way better off using elementalist gear if you dont have edb.

I think it would be better to stay with an elemental setup with a good destruction staff. What makes the last round fast is soul burst. If I were to use elemental spells in the final round it would take 50-75 turns. But it seems your problems is getting to the final round. What would help you the most is to cast weaken on the bosses each round. It takes a lot of mana but you won't get hit for as much damage so you won't need to heal. You may have to do that for a lot more levels but in time you won't need to do that even if you do T&T-BT.

I have no good elemental phase :\ With the rating boost gone my holy has more EDB than any elemental setup I can make. The only real loss there is my holy suit doesn't have as much evade as elemental, but I'd prefer if I could just kill them all in 2 shots rather than have to dodge time after time.

Only on Nintendo, that was my first try doing it on that difficulty. I did it on Hell the other day and that was much easier. I wish the goddamn shield scrolls lasted longer >_<

Do you mean the minibosses? If I end having to do that I'm not going to bother, I'm not going to spend 2 hours on Trio, which is what will happen if I have to weaken all the minibosses :[

Really wish there was a tier of something to hold us off until we hit 250, I've gone up like 1 level in a week. The only nice part about doing Trio on Nintendo today was it ate through like 70% of my next level.

Bob and I use holy/dark as our primary spell combo in arena because it took a lesser hit from the loss of ratings than elemental did. And because Ragnarok simply hits harder than WoT/FoL with equivalent prof/edb gear, in my experience. That's why he and I use Demon-fiend/Fenrir gear, not because of higher soul damage on Trio.

I'm really looking forward to level 250, though. I can't wait to rip through Trio with Soul Burst! I can almost certainly start doing T&T on BT at that point, since I can already consistently clear it on Nintendo.

sword chucks seemed to get *really* high crit chances. i saw one with 16%+ crit chance O_O

but i guess that's not enough to make them desirable (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

e: i think if their bleed was a tad higher, they could give axes a run for their money

What he means is gossamer of the elementalist which works well on the trio decently enough for bt or nintendo.

Does anyone have a good silk robe? I know silk won't drop anymore, and there may be better counterparts out there, but I just want to collect a set.
I got most of everything except the robe. I do not see any good one in the WTS. As a matter of fact, no one sells it. Orz.
