I died.

Fortunately we aren't in last spurt so unless you are like me and tried to do a Tower floor so late that the day or season was about to end you can just try again. I had to finish my final floor with no potions or draughts of any kind and ended up surviving the last round on my very last Spirit Elixir (Health Elixirs all dranked, and only had Mana Elixirs left to consume).

The other good thing is that we aren't so far into the season that clearing a Tower floor is that arduous yet. Takes only about an hour or so? I've never gone past Tower floor 52~54 in any season yet, but I imagine it gets tremendously worse and grindier by floor 100?

Next time you could consider using Scrolls of Life near the end of a Tower floor to avoid that feature. Unless you are saving them for when you really need them. I'm saving mine this season, but in previous seasons I ate all my scrolls where we currently are, Tower floors 45+ because I did kind of need them at only around level 300 in those seasons.

I've died a few times in Tower floors 40+ in prior seasons, never from the Spark of Life 1 HP feature, but from being too stingy with my draughts and potions and pushing myself and dying. When I get to later rounds now, I get less stingy and try to keep my spirit topped off at all times just in case.

Yeah the floors aren't thaaat long or hard where we are right now but wasting even as low as 20 mins thanks to it is pretty annoying. I actually ended up depleting my gum/vase reserves out of frustration in an attempt to speed things up, didn't have many though. They feel pretty nice so if you're at the end of your tower adventure definitely recommend using some of those so you can enjoy the last climb.

I think the scrolls wouldn't work for it given it bypasses the activation of spark completely and they overall they feel bad to use the more you climb, not because of what they do but because of how long they last.
There are a few ways to get past the bug but the problem comes in determining when can it start happening which I guess is now for me with my current equips.

Congrats, depending on what styles you play there's a chance you might never get to use FRD but even so getting a new title feels nice, only one more to go.

Seems like people are starting to struggle in the Tower, only 48+ people cleared Floor 47 on the frontier, a drop of 5 from yesterday. I also had to start using various scrolls for the first time (about 20) in part because at the end I was sparking too often and Pretty anon made me scaredy.

Took me 1 hour 44 minutes to clear due to my struggles, compared to 1 hour 24 minutes just the floor before.

There is also another possibility. I, for example, cleaned the floor 40 and stopped temporarily. I will only continue to rise when I reach level 350, to have better attack and defense numbers. These more preparation days give me time to improve my equipment (that is, upgrades), but without having a big investment all at once (I don't want to use persistent credits to buy materials as in past seasons).

Yeah, I find that the skill didn't seem too useful. I already have OFC and it's really a very OP skill to have, enough for me to streamline PFUDOR.

I always use two FUS RO DAH in the last Round of LV 500 Arena Secret Pony Level as Mage.

Where do the images from abilities and spells come from? I really like them!

I don't know but I've always wondered what some of the icons are supposed to represent, like Regen, Shadowveil, Flames of Loki, Freeze or the wind debuff. Would be interested to see higher res of those as well.

As long as the monsters don't hit you over the spirit shield threshold or your HP doesn't end in 1 or 6 you should be fine don't worry. Be careful about gaining HP mid-battle via proficiency though. But yeah maybe some peepz doing like Basara and taking it easy or maybe waiting until later.

It has its uses but yeah for some styles they end up having a hard time justifying the OC expense. And indeed those schoolgirls are fat, too fat but they give some extra pocket change with their trophies and DwD pays with Mags+ too so time to invest in a good weapon now...if they're even available (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Two FUS RO DAH means you can keep all the 9 Ponies with MagNet, Silence, Weaken and Imperil without any Danger, it's comfortable to hit them after that, especially for Mages who are not rich.

Hmm, from what I understand the 1 HP non-trigger bug always has a chance to affect your normal Spark of Life (but not Scroll of Life) regardless of your maximum HP, however you may be more likely to encounter it if your max HP ends in certain digits and you reliably and repetitively take Spirit Shield damage from monster skills.

But checking your log, how did you manage to suffer skill damage from 6 different monsters in the same turn? This should be almost impossible with 1H because you should be stunning monsters and breaking up the groups that hit you. What fighting style are you using right now, and I assume you use Haste as well?

Could be that some people start a tower before dawn and come back later to do 2 towers in a row or something too. And for the 1H bug yes afaik it can trigger anywhere for anyone at any point regardless of HP but it's normally so rare that in all this time it has happened to me only once just casually. Tower just makes it so the conditions are perfect to be able to suffer from it consistently but don't know if Scroll of Life really helps. Could test it right now but honestly don't feel like it because dying=bad.

It's not that common but it happens when you do an action that consumes many time units, like casting Heartseeker for example. But you just need to be unlucky once so...
Oh I use(d) 2H to climb but don't be misled by that snipet of log, you don't get hit like that all turns, not close at all.
