Also got kill in arena at early battle again, that happen in all 4 seasons (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) seems I never learn not to push too hard at low level

You can do tower lvl 1 with no items, no mana usage, no equipment, at lvl 1. Usually the first thing I do each season. Just attack and defend each time your health goes down enough, defend also regens health and can be spammed. Though it is better to get potions for safety if you remember.

I just curious what's highest difficulty should play on lv1 to lv100 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Almost died on lv90 arena, I just manually cast spark on life when I just get lv100 during the battle and it burst on same turn😂

Well I should able to clear tower with no items, since I did so last season, but my hp threshold did set too low so got killed this season.

Now confirm that at least you can encounter plv2250 monsters at level 161. Didn't noticed whether there are plv2250 at level 160, but seems the monster plv doesn't increase with every player level increase ( at level 135?~154? the monster plv are cap at 2003, and at level 155~159? they're cap at 2160) so I guess they should reach plv2250 at player level 160, with PFUDOR difficulty

Guess you're right, gotta keep it positive but you know how it goes, that round you happened to lose had a Peerless at the end or something (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

But feels nice doesn't it? Just be careful, it all starts with that little "oh I'm in first today" then you get first on the next day too so you keep going and before you notice you can't stop climbing the tower after 4 months

I keep missing every other attack, my hit chance isn't even that low. Guess just clicking on monsters won't cut it anymore.

Hello from a big n00b that recently started playing again recently

So I've been reading wiki and lurking reading various posts on the forum about equipment and what I should try to wear, mainly concerning Light Armour because I'm playing Dual-wielding Club+Wakizashi of the Nimble

And in the wiki it is written to replace my gear every ~30 levels

Yet I have a piece of Superior Shade Boots of Negation at level 63 which seems to me to be pretty much overall better (ATB, Hit Chance, Evade+Resist > Migitation) than very recently dropped Exquisite Leather Boots of Stoneskin which are at level 136, this is a 73 level spread at this point, with 1 tier of Quality difference

So with that in mind, am I right in just using those boots even at those higher levels even if they provide me less base stats stats, which already cost me 80-90k exp per +1 at 145-150 range ?

well, just see what gives you the best damage, evade, pMIT. I think the leather would work a bit better, but it's probably a close call.

DW is a nice style, I'm playing that in isekai right now. It's possible to do IWBTH comfortly with only exquisites at your level, or even PFUDOR but that requires a lot of attention and even elixirs

Yeah I really like DW, I didn't start with it, instead I went 1h+ Shield then switched to Niten Ichiryu for some reason but around level 70-80 I was just constantly getting buttcheek slapped even while playing on Hell difficulty, and with addition to only 1 skill on high cost and long CD I just had to switch away

With DW I actually managed to win 1st and 2nd arena on PFUDOR but that difficulty is really all smiles, IWBTH for me isn't that much easier but at least after multiple previous tries and unlocking Heartseeker today I managed to beat up to 60lvl arena on it today, but that 100 base mana cost and my luck with not proccing Channeling before but right after casting it... In my experience, DW is very doable at high difficulties with a mix of Shade armor of the ShadowDancer + Shade of the Arcanist (ShadowDancer gives as much crit % as power armor of Balance and Arcanist gives Wisdom and Intelligence to offset burden. Complement that armor set with Ethereal Wakizashi of Balance and of the Nimble or dual nimble (you absolutely need high parry and high evade and resist). Invest ability points in DW, Light Armor, HP, SP, amd MP, healing items, Heartseeker (to make crits mote damaging) and leave spellcasting to only support, healing and status effects like Silence and Imperil which hit more than one target at high levels of ability point investment (Arcanist shade helps with magic hit %). Item world your weapons first and soulbound them once you get Butcher Lv 4 + Counterparry Lv 4 + Elec Strike for main hand and Swift Strike Lv 4 + Counterparry Lv 4 + Dark Strike for the offhand. If you can have each Shade piece to be of a different resistance, the better (Onyx, Jade, Cobalt, Amber, Ruby and Zircon) and item world them to have massive elemental protection against spells and skills that aren't void even if not forging them but if you can invest in upgrading them now and then, fine.
I doesn't have to immediately be like that, you can build to it at your own pace and check the equip store as sometimes good equipment for your build will show up that others think useless. Shrine as many trophies as you can towards your equip type and maybe you will luck out or at least get what I call "training equips" to substitute for your mains while you Item world them.
Abuse Frenzied Blows whenever possible or use Spirit Stance all the time. If you have or can invest in HATH, then you must absolutely invest in innate arcana so that your Protection, Haste, Shadow Veil and Spark of Life spells are active all the time (investing in mana pots to keep those active is loads easier than missing a recast click). The wind spikes Protection spell upgrade is the best as it lowers enemies accuracy (you want them to miss you + your evade).
Seems like a chore, and it is, but it works for DW's survivability. Ignore attack magic with such a build.
