Weapon cores should still be 2x to 5x more expensive than armor cores, due to being 5x less in existence.
If cores are going to be cheap then peerless equipments will be correspondingly devalued after the patch. Does anyone want to buy my
poking stick?
The value of armor cores is a little more complex than that due to the 5x core yield (and likely cost) for rare types, the drop distribution of rare types, and the number of rare-types used in sets.
Not to mention there aren't likely to be that many people upgrading weapons in the first place - with legendary cores - if there's going to be an enormous credit cost for doing so.
The extremely valuable peerlesses are likely to stay roughly the same depending on that credit cost - Tenboro said hundreds of millions, and I don't know if that was forecasting for worst-case scenarios (like from a completely minimum rolled legendary). A handful of peerlesses may drop in value, but for half of those, we don't even know what their value would be because they haven't been seen in years or they've never even been available for purchase.
The only thing it's missing, that'd make it complete, in my opinion, is being able to merge duplicate-name equipments to gain, say, up to 25% of the merged equipment's base stat points higher than the minimum for its tier.
