Edit to compliment Tens' edit: I finally beat Real Life again using an axe and club, but his spirit attack was doing 30,000 damage to me :\ And that took over 450 turns. I haven't even beat FSM yet and I only beat IPU once D:

It was on the left side of the screen, either above or underneath my proficiency link. And then it disappeared. It was very odd indeed. Is it from the HVStat or from the System? What an odd message though...

It happens when you try to upgrade primary attribute when you dont have enough unassigned exp. Im guessing that you at the time just increased a attribute, pressed back button and then tried to increase the attribute again.
