You may know about the boundary effect for spells, if you imperil the top monstr A it will target A B and C. Like the imperil bounces off the top edge. This doesn't happen when targeting the last monste at the bottom. However, in Eternal Darkness, this does seem to work on the first 80 rounds! Those rounds only have 3 monsters. When I imperil monster C, all three are hit! That shouldn't happen?! Only found this effects on these early rounds in Eternal Darkness.

I'm using latest monsterbation on mobile and imperil by tapping the monster bar icon.

The only thing that I have never paid attention to and I ignore, is whether it is your initial target that will be taken into account for coaslesced mana, or the center of the spell's effective AoE.

Weird, I didn't know this either. Also works in the initial portion of End of Days 110 and DwD, as well as Road Less Traveled 15 and Rolling Stone 20, as long as there are 3 monsters total. I'm using regular firefox and imperil with the default mouse wheel up script setting.

Hmm so maybe the general rule is just this, plus "reflection" only at the top otherwise?

Probably a small optimisation that stops the server having to calculate which targets should be hit based on the center of a spell if there's equal or less than the maximum number of targets.

Someday I do tests using OFC. Initially I was disregarding this option due to the difficulty in reloading the overcharge.
