How long did it take you to figure out the answer to this one?

I wonder if I should start trying to reverse-solve these (go backwards from each exit). Cause it's blatantly obvious when you do this maze that way.

That's what I do when I see it's too complicated.

Umm.. mine absorbs way more than that. How many AP did you put into it?

Ed: Like this:

45 5 Liselotte Werckmeister crits you for 1342 slashing damage.
45 4 Your spirit shield absorbs 2939 points of damage from the attack into 37.39 points of spirit damage.

3 AP, but that's not the point. How much it absorbs depends on how hard you're hit (it reduces the damage to 25% of your max HP), and I've stopped meeting Liselotte, so...

That looks like the maze I got the other day. I had to activate my Mensa puzzle-solving powers. I threw in some basic reverse engineering and summoned all my past crossword and word search puzzle book skills, too. Those Mensa douchebags always make up shit in their puzzle books that only makes sense to themselves and no one else so I know what I'm dealing with.

I failed my first one two days ago for the exact same reason. Though I was watching some gameplay video of Amnesia and got back WAY after the timer has already expired. It was worth it.



Plus I'm glad this only started happening after stamina lost was patched.

I've definitely seen several mazes today that were noticeably difficult than in the past. Whether that's just bad luck or tweaks on Tenb's part idk.

Uhh, just do them semi-backwards and within 4 seconds you'll see that 3 of the exits are closed off.

Nah, I've been dabbling silently, but without any new-type phase my elemental damage is pathetic (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). I can't really mage it up unless my stamina is in the top tier, without that +25% dmg I die really easily so I get in a little grinding and Trio and that's about it. If I can find a good mana stealing melee weapon I might give that a try... though I'm sad that the amount of mana stolen doesn't increase with prof and it can't steal from more than 1 mob per turn even with domino strikes. The shield block debuff also made me sad.

What's really insulting is when I zone out and lose an arena battle to one of those stupid custom monsters. I can wake up in time when a maze pops up but I've recently been losing here and there to that dumb Neptardia and Ilia de la Dorkshnoker a la Poopdinger or whatever it's called, which never gave me any problems before.

And it's mainly because I'm either daydreaming or looking at something else as I'm doing my battle. But one time when I was playing on IWBTH in the arena, I legitimately lost at the beginning of a round when I tried to cast Weaken on one of them and was instantly killed. I was like what the hell?! I didn't even have a chance to stick my staff up their butt.

My staff hits against regular monsters are usually in the 1100-1200 range... how the fuck is a monster that's WEAK TO CRUSHING taking 1/5 normal damage from it?

Yeah, it's Tenboro's monster; but he doesn't get to cheat his monster's stats, does he? Besides, Neptunia's weakness to Dark damage is legit (I hit her far harder with Ragnarok than most other monsters), so why isn't her "weakness" to crushing damage working?
