I BECOME addicted to power, now that I update the Monsterbation script (A favor, if someone is so kind to send a PM when the script is updated, I would really appreciate it, I don't always have the time to check the forum thoroughly) , I was able to truly realize how much power I already have, in reducing my playing time considerably in half thanks to everything that I have improved my equipment set.

But now I want MORE, and it is leaving me poor, I am still not recovering anything I have invested, but it feels so good to finish in just an hour and a half of constant play the last 3 challenges of the arena, that I became addicted to the power. More and more I want to finish faster... and faster... and faster... This is why generally we advise people to play the conventional styles before experimenting with weird stuff - as it turns out, damn near everyone has more fun when the game is easier & they get their rewards faster (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

If you think that's fast... imagine what it's like for mages. There's a reason 99% of players who switch never go back to melee.

Also I'm level 80 and never used soul fuse before, as such I'm using a level 40 weapon, should I soul fuse? If I do, would I still be able to soup fuse with another weapon in the future? Can I unequip the soulfused item?

The monsters from the monster lab? They're not for assistance in battle; they appear in the monsters you (and other players) fight, and when they win, they have a chance to bring you forge materials. They also bring a guaranteed gift of random materials after 72 hours since the last gift.

Yes, if you soulfuse an item, all it does is syncs its level with yours: you can still unequip it, sell it to the bazaar, salvage it, whatever. It is generally advised to be cautious with soulfusing at low levels because soul fragments are not plentiful until you've played for quite a long time. At level 80, you are still levelling very fast, so it is generally advisable to just use whatever weapons you get as drops (or buy average-quality ones from the bazaar, if it's been a really long time).

If you think that's fast... imagine what it's like for mages.

I can't imagine mages as "fast".
Probably like I would for an archer or gunner type, because of the need to constantly watch and refill ammo (don't let MP decrease to the point buffs end and spell cannot be caster for mages), and constantly check if there's ammo to do the refilling (having to check the draught status, and amount of recovery items for mages).
It may be psychological, and not as bad as imagination can make it if experienced, but still, "mage" and "fast" don't work well together for me (unless it's RE, a single round with no very special opponents is bearable...though even there the amount of opponents create another type of danger to physically weak mages)

As if this game made any sense at all...

If the only good stat is ADB, I've seen countless better ones in bazaar, and bought a couple as well...

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I specifically said weapon, not equipment; and as you know I do not like weapons with common suffixes, perhaps very rarely the suffix balance.

The best thing I have obtained is the equipment that was auctioned for 13m credits that was a Legendary Charged cotton gloves of the Heaven-sent, nothing beats that piece, and the fact that I obtained it through the offer of a Bunyy-girl costume in the shrine, makes it somewhat insurmountable so far.

I'll be honest, I was actually expecting more of a fight for it or the Shocking Sword that had better stats of 97 Adb and 92 parry. That sword didn't even get bid on. I forgot to bid on it.

Guess dual wielding really has become unpopular.

To me, dual wielding is currently the best melee type, as it is the most compatible with my arena+monsterbation script+build+strategy combination.
Other types are flawed (kill monsters too fast to recover skill points, stun enemies breaking my battle flow, and other issues)

That's probably because dual wield uses club slaughter + rapier balance, or rapier slaughter / waki nimble... but yes, DW (and other non-1H melee styles) are supremely unpopular.

DW is still my favourite melee style, though. I will go back to it one day.

Yes, that was my Shortsword. I was honestly surprised myself. I at least expected to get a bid on it, and didn't!
