Amusing, that's exactly what I had in mind before I saw your post.

I think that there are too many players who are spoiled, act cocky, think big of themselves, have nothing to learn from others, drag others names in the mud for everything and anything, or God knows what else. There are also too many players who consider that what they have at their disposal is a due and that they can mess about freely without consequences. Over the last few months, this section of the forums has become too much of an obnoxious jungle full of trolls, snowflakes and bullshit, void of respect, actual expertize and friendship. I was already being quite irritated by that since a few months, but the recent events made me decide that I can't tolerate/close my eyes on that anymore, to take some sad decisions and to show that bad behavior can be punished over Internet too.

So allow me to cut the grass under everyone's feet and teach a bit of humility by:
-cancelling my plans to fix the equipment registration bot, for starters (so bye-bye equipment range updates/fixing)
-not fixing potential serious issues on the database and related services that would require a lot of work
-keeping every kind of maintenance to the very strict minimum
-denying all kinds of requests/info/assistance, except those that come from some select people who did something to deserve my respect
-not making late registrations in my auctions anymore (sending on Monday or Sunday 11pm = you wait one entire week)
-[i.imgur.com] Seiga-pawnching away and publicly those who don't behave; it's been a while I haven't done that
-not providing my opinion/expertise on various subjects, and just not talk at all here anymore in this very section, save for teaching someone some manners
-only reading/listening/considering/answering to people who have a minimum of kindness, manners, respect and consideration toward others; the others can just fuck off, i'm not a robot/tool
-just not being nice, patient, tolerant and benevolent anymore

For those who already had complains about me before this post, now you'll have good reasons to be unhappy, and the worst is that you won't even be able to complain about it because I'm perfectly in my rights.

From now on, I will be enjoying myself and having a lot of fun not caring about anything at all anymore except me, myself and the shininess of my blade to admire my pretty self in it. I'll be very picky regarding the politeness if I have to go out of my way for someone. Oh, and if it's still not clear enough: I don't care anyone's opinion regarding this decision and there is no way back. No way back save from obtaining a forum full of good boys and cute girls, real experts, pink fluffy unicorns, kitty kittens, head pats, cuddles and meow meow.

Well, what else is there to care about in a forum? I mean i guess one could just fapp all the time even during conversations in a forum, but that is just no road i could travel, most of not all of you lack the needed salad sauce to make that a pleasant experience for me, if you know where i am coming from. Major browsers have announced concrete plans to enforce their One True Vision™ of the web and outright disallow mixed content (HTTP) images on HTTPS sites in the near future. As such, even though this is completely pointless with our setup, and does nothing except add complexity and overhead, we don't really have any choice except to switch H@H to use HTTPS. This will take place early 2020 (February at latest), and the 1.4 branch will stop working before that time.

Please direct all complaints about the inevitable drawbacks to the brainless security fetishists at Google and/or Mozilla who cannot seem to comprehend that there are actual valid use cases for loading HTTP resources on HTTPS sites.

With reference to this ... Could someone explain to me in more detail the new stupidity of google?

I hope this isn't condescending, but since I don't know your level of understanding on the subject already... the TL;DR version is that when a website you're accessing through a secure connection (HTTPS) tries to load assets via a non-secure protocol (HTTP), modern browser developers do not like this. This is because of various security concerns.

However, to use HTTPS requires additional overhead (extra data) which compromises efficiency on the scale of applications like H@H. Tenboro's point is that, for the case of E-H and H@H, HTTPS connections are not needed for loading images, and forcing him to 'upgrade' to HTTPS downgrades the quality of the network.

Someone more educated on web technologies can perhaps tell you more about the subject. It is not my area of expertise at all.

Can someone check what past auction prices have been for Peerless (any) Shortswords of Slaughter? I thought I recalled much lower.
