I had to attack them 3 times to die, taking away valuable movements.
Yeah, really wish i could now write something to feign sympathy, but tbh i dont even have words for this complain. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

It seems you didn't understand me uncle stu. To the enemies that I refer, they had a misery of vital points, something like 50 or 75 and sometimes less, and when I attacked them, they didn't die.
That's what I mean by those with 3 attacks, at that point, they usually only need one attack and nothing else to die for.

It's a good time for me to ask why older players in general (i believe?) don't like the overpower potency. It's good for exactly these situations as far as I understand. To stop monsters parrying attacks. Maybe that's what you need, Arkoniusx.

Because using a shield automatically stuns monsters that attack you if they get blocked. And stunned monsters can't parry/evade.
Similar to why I use a club+rapier, club stuns the monsters, so they can't parry/evade the rest of my hits.
No, i did understand you perfectly fine. You just dont understand why i could be upset because of it.

Well, the problem with overpower is, that it is mostly useless for 1H. As any other melee style i suggest get as much as you can. And i said mostly because with 1H you dont just have Overwhelming Strikes something that gives you allready counter parry by itself, but you also have quite often stunned monster around because of your counter attacks, and stunned monster dont parry. So of course overpower is much less usefull and you would prefer a way to actually increase your damage, when any additonal counter parry would not matter that much.

Ah I see. I knew it was mostly about 1H but didn't make the connection with stunning (even though I think it's in the wiki). What about Arkoniusx, he seems to be dual-wielding (without a club?), would overpower be recommended in that case?
edit: got my answer above

And I have it, in the weapon that I soul fuse, however, it was a weapon 50 levels lower than my current level, so that I could no longer overcome most of the monsters that attacked me, now that I have already risen, the problem was solved.
In fact, I am thinking of changing my second weapon from an ethereal rapier, to an ethereal club because it is also already far below my level, but for that I have to raise it to level 10 of tier in the item world, until then I will continue using the rapier.
I'd totally favor a plain peerless over a low-end radiant, simply because the overall damage gain is very little, but the defensive aspect of a peerless is... peerless.

It is a waste of Shade equipment, because who in their healthy judgment would improve a piece of this grade, wasting precious Shade material, which in itself is expensive and cannot be recovered when salvage this piece.

its pretty good to drop such equipment, you can salvage it and obbtain Energy Cells

What do you mean that you can't recover Shade when salvaging it?
Wiki says so in the salvage area:
Rares
Cannot be retrieved from salvaging (except from those coming from upgrades, with the usual 90% ratio).
And actually, Shade Fragments aren't that expensive. For around 600k, you get all the Shade Fragments you'll need to upgrade a piece of gear (100 for ADB, 50 for the rest and remember that using one "unlocks" all the upgrades for that level).
Repurposed Actuators (55k each, up to 5.5M per piece of gear) and Phazons (200k each, 20M per piece of gear) got it way worse.
