Oh, i am sorry, i am a bit distracted by RL, so the thought been a joke never occurred to me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) And i personally i think that block is okay for a level 500 player. I mean i still dont have a peerl force shield. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yeah, i know but an uncle can dream, right? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) But your assumption about the effectiveness misses a few important points. Number one is, that evades comes allways first. So only with a block chance of zero really all attacks will have a chance to get blocked. And number two is that most if not all monster i encounter have some tokens into Precision, which reduces my block. So 69% does look really good, but it is not the actual chance i have to block a monster attack. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Also a chance is not equal to the outcome, because a chance is not a guarantee. I mean who doesnt know games who play with chances and you miss multiple times in a fow with a near 100% chance, or hit with a really low chance? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Yeah it's true. And about the last thing you said - that's likely the reason why there are situations where no matter how easy something looks when grinding -> all of a sudden your spark is down! Probably happens when several monsters at the same time forget about averages and roll high on everything.

Well, that is not the whole truth. When you actually upgrade your equipment, you will quite soon reach a point when no arena can still kill you -well unless you forget to recast regen and you die the death of a thousand stitches (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) - and the point the same been true for IW is not that far after that. And no, you dont need even a single peerl for that to be true. When you reach 500 and have fully forged your whole set, the only thing that can still actually kill you would be a PFest. And even that could easy be avoided when you are not as stubborn as a certain uncle and just use SoL and haste and shadow veil in the last 200 rounds. In fact I was having problems with the opposite, that is, from level 301, the enemies began to be alive after several strokes of my weapon, and the most ridiculous thing was that this happened when they only had something like 50 points of life, what is worse, I had to attack them 3 times to die, taking away valuable movements.

It has more than about 2 weeks that did not lower the difficulty to play more at ease, I was in Nintendo difficulty, and it took almost nothing to complete the last 3 challenges of the arena with dual welding fighting style, but only pass from level 301 , what I already mentioned began to happen to me.

I have no more solution, but soul fuse with one of my weapons to have more attack. And that solved the problem.

But it seems to me abysmal, the difference that there is of change of difficulty from a single level to another. If I knew that I would have to change weapons at some point, but I didn't think that the change would be so sudden.

Quick question, when you soul fuse a weapon, is it only for one person, or is it for all the person's you have created?

It seems you didn't understand me uncle stu. To the enemies that I refer, they had a misery of vital points, something like 50 or 75 and sometimes less, and when I attacked them, they didn't die.

That's what I mean by those with 3 attacks, at that point, they usually only need one attack and nothing else to die for.

It's a good time for me to ask why older players in general (i believe?) don't like the overpower potency. It's good for exactly these situations as far as I understand. To stop monsters parrying attacks. Maybe that's what you need, Arkoniusx.

Because using a shield automatically stuns monsters that attack you if they get blocked. And stunned monsters can't parry/evade.

Similar to why I use a club+rapier, club stuns the monsters, so they can't parry/evade the rest of my hits.

No, i did understand you perfectly fine. You just dont understand why i could be upset because of it.

Well, the problem with overpower is, that it is mostly useless for 1H. As any other melee style i suggest get as much as you can. And i said mostly because with 1H you dont just have Overwhelming Strikes something that gives you allready counter parry by itself, but you also have quite often stunned monster around because of your counter attacks, and stunned monster dont parry. So of course overpower is much less usefull and you would prefer a way to actually increase your damage, when any additonal counter parry would not matter that much.

Ah I see. I knew it was mostly about 1H but didn't make the connection with stunning (even though I think it's in the wiki).
What about Arkoniusx, he seems to be dual-wielding (without a club?), would overpower be recommended in that case?

edit: got my answer above

And I have it, in the weapon that I soul fuse, however, it was a weapon 50 levels lower than my current level, so that I could no longer overcome most of the monsters that attacked me, now that I have already risen, the problem was solved.

In fact, I am thinking of changing my second weapon from an ethereal rapier, to an ethereal club because it is also already far below my level, but for that I have to raise it to level 10 of tier in the item world, until then I will continue using the rapier.

I wonder if the peerless is worth using. Or just a collection (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I'd totally favor a plain peerless over a low-end radiant, simply because the overall damage gain is very little, but the defensive aspect of a peerless is... peerless.

I just got the stupidest thing that can happen in the game if you're already at high levels:

https://hentaiverse.org/equip/202120911/8a6761bc73

It is a waste of Shade equipment, because who in their healthy judgment would improve a piece of this grade, wasting precious Shade material, which in itself is expensive and cannot be recovered when salvage this piece.

Personally, I do keep all Average rares as collection, because... they're damn rare after all. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
My favorite one: Average Shade Breastplate of the Shadowdancer
I'm still waiting for my Average Power of Slaughter.
