I wonder if we'll have an item to celebrate surviving the EHpocalypse like the one from the 2011 fracture (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If there is going to be one, I want one. Although I settle for something that says:
"I survived the imminent end of e-hentai"

Observation. The more I level up, the bigger the gap between the damage I take from physical attacks and those I take from magical attacks as Power 1H. It's quite logical, since the individual crushing/slashing/piercing mitigation scale up with not only the armor's level, but also the heavy proficiency. While I do have some elemental mitigation from the armor as well, but one part of it is fixed (potencies) and there is no scaling ability for that. I have reached a point where physical attacks tickle me even at FridayFest 1000, while magical attacks hurt really bad.
I'm starting to think that while 4 Protection + 1 Warding, or 3+2 are quite recommended at Lvl 300, at a very high level one should be geared with more Warding than Protection.
Thoughts?

I personally was thinking of pestering you about calculating what is the distribution of damage types from that monster database you have. To see what percentage of damage types can you expect and thus what armor type is more valuable than others. I'm bad at spreadsheets though so I just brute forced the lvl2250 monsters and the results were inconsistent with the damage I've taken because I do not face only 2250. So I decided there's too many variables and whatnot and scrapped it. I had no idea how to calculate how many special attacks do monsters use compared to melee and so on. Anyway, relevant to your question might be that monster appearances at your level might be different than at ~lvl300. Even though I see a lot of lvl2250, they sometimes go down to 1500. This might imply less chaos tokens, less stats, maybe less special attacks used because of it. Maybe you face more 2250s and thus it's not just the heavy armor that scaled badly. Maybe monsters use more special attacks at higher levels? That still implies more warding as an answer though.

Well when you actually want to know what damage "does" hit you it is imo much more helpfull to look at something like a full PFest. These is the data from a full Pfest with 85.5% PM and 85.5% MM. And no, these numbers dont actually tell you what is actually dangerous and so wouldnt a look into the database.

I was thinking more of [ hvlist.niblseed.com] https://hvlist.niblseed.com/What type of damage is seen how many times and thus what type of mitigation is more useful than others. Mostly out of curiosity, game applications are likely minimal. For example you can see that physical elemental attacks are rare (and it is corroborated by your screenshot). Those types of things were curious to me. But your screenshot is pretty cool. 1000 rounds of PFFest is a good sample size by itself plus I haven't played one so the big numbers are interesting to see. Mind posting a screenshot of your mitigations?

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) thanks I mean, I would be embarassed too to post stats if i had ONLY 69% block. This post has been edited by mega-wifeacc: Aug 8 2019, 19:45

I wasnt talking about embarassement, i was talking about improvement. I mean i made multiple post with my stats. And right now, the only actuall way for me to increase my block is with prof, but because that only happens every 10.00 prof for +0.25 that can take a while.

I was joking. 69% block is massive for someone of my level to see. It seems ridiculously much (especially when you think about it - you block more than two thirds of all attacks and that's not even counting all other mitigations and parrying). No easy way to send nuances over the Internet so I'm sorry if it came out rude. Wasn't supposed to be.
