QUOTE(lestion @ Jun 28 2019, 02:04) *

Stu... E-H updates to reflect the increasing price of BTC. If they bought 1 BTC for 100 dollars, then the value of BTC goes up to 200 dollars, the 100 dollars they spent is now worth 2 gold stars, rather than 1.
But it does not matter how E-H does updates it, because you CANT trade those BTC in your E-H wallet.

QUOTE(lestion @ Jun 28 2019, 02:04) *

Of course, the price of BTC changing makes absolutely no difference to people who are only buying it to exchange into GS within the moment, but for people who held a lot of BTC beforehand, they are suddenly a lot richer, and can afford to buy more gold stars... so therefore, there's a higher supply of GS on the market and the price can go down (to compete with other sellers, and to reach more buyers).
Hm. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Did you even read what i did answer to? Because it was about GS seller to say "BTC prices increase so now you have to pay more". Hm, unless I did missunderstand it and did just understand it that way, because i actually remember some people wroting that to explain increasing prices a few years ago. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Sorry, it is just too hot here. Maximum temperature in my apartment was 33°C and believe that kills more braincells as two weeks in. a drunken stupor. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

There's a tendency, even when you agree with everything a person said, you offered your opinion because something is not quite right. The one you're replied to now think he's wrong or something, and proceed to argue.

Misunderstanding ensues.

Don't worry, I suffer from that too every once in a while. I just stop picking every little thing. To put it bluntly, none what you (Stu, Jug, lestion) said is wrong. The context just expanded a bit sideway.

Of course, if the BTC is in your wallet already, you can't sell a star anyway... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yeah, the heat is bad enough here. I would not want to be on the mainland this week.

That's a good point to keep yourself from, but it's also bad one if you want to discuss something with adequate people who can give you more insight. For example sometimes you don't get any feedback even when "feedbacker" has huge need for it, but still can't operate this way and gets himself in trouble. And since forums are all about discussions it's okay as long as you keep yourself from harassing someone without a reason (or doing it in a wrong way in general). You can even call it entertainment (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I don't know why I write this since almost everyone knows it, but just had sudden urge to express it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's the same for btc: prices rises - hoarders are happy and want to spend extra, price falls - saving mode

Roughly the temperature in my apartment rn. And it's almost 3 AM (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Air conditioner? What? At my home we do not even know what that is.

Btw about bitcoin when I mentioned hoarders, I mean people that buy BTC to keep them in their online wallet.
Those are the ones asking for more credits when their already bought BTC lose value...since they would have to spend more BTC to make the same donation, but those BTC were exchanged at a higher price, they bloat the GS price.

The fun thing about this is that they do not do the opposite when the BTC price goes up.
So time by time, every time the BTC goes down a little, the GS price raises.
Then the BTC goes up a little, and the GS prices stays the same.
And so on (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

If the thought ever crosses your mind that it would be a good idea to switch to holy mage, check super's auction. Dude, those radiants aren't even near-peerless! If I would want to go holy mage, I would want at least similar equip as I have now in Dark. That would mean:
staff - impossible to get, but let's say 150m + 25m forging?
cap - 60m?
robe - 80m?
Pants - 80m?
gloves - 50m?
shoes - 50m?
forging phases - 150m to start getting somewhere

The thought did cross my mind, you know. I am curious how the effect of breached defence is. But I would have to start saving for like 700m or so. No, this is not going to happen....

Random thought that just crossed my mind. I'm wondering how come a lot of players reach Lvl300 without ever dropping a single figurine, while I drop at least one every 1-2 weeks myself, without even playing PFFEST.

yes, I did. But then I disabled the RE management in gallery and all's fine again. That feature in gallery doesn't work properly...

I made that RE timer works in a different way in gallery, but it seems to be confusing for users.

I'll fix it.

I got one like 50 levels ago, or something: Fluffle Puff. I want moar.

Btw, what's exactly PFFEST? Grindfest at PFUDOR level? Don't you need like more than level 300 and proper equipment to handle that?
