Honestly I think soul res should be pulled from mechs and possibly from being upgraded at all on any creature type. Soul originally was the high cost middling damage type with no strength or weakness. Now its the high cost mid - high damage with a massive weakness. Soul res also fucks up ethereal weapons, which was there only reason real reason to exist (no burden / interference is nice but doesn't warrant use due to eths low base stats)

Paraphrasing Tenboro's words: that makes no sense. But I agree that Soul res makes eths less useful in that they were already only marginally useful. They sucked in general use because they were usually weaker than non-eths despite their rarity (and now, they're even less rare) and the two highest level Ultimates are Soul Impervious and Real Life is fairly resistant to it (though Soul damage is still one of the easier ways to kill it).

Blah, semantics. Then replace "soul" and rename with "elder magic / arcane / force / elderberry" as a true damage type that isn't based on souls and it makes sense again. I mean, if we're going by makes sense, why the fuck are mechs and zombies bleeding?

Saw someone requested "Unique Item" (Diablo?) kind of gear in the request thread. Sometime ago, I was going to request the same exact thing. However, seeing every javazon in D2 using exactly the same so-called "Unique" javelin ... kinda ruined the whole idea of randomly generated item and its beauty... Beside pron, this system is what drawn me to this game in the first place, still want it to stay that way. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Eths should probably be changed to a void/null damage type that there is no specific resistance against. They already do crap damage, so having 0 resistance shouldn't be a problem. Or take eths out of the table and replace them with beam/energy weapons. Ethereal staffs are stupid anyway, so there's no need to drop beam staffs.

But yes, max Eth Titan's was the endgame for every Javazon ever. The main problem I see with uniques here is that Legendary equip (which I'd assume uniques would fit the rarity slot of) has dropped 3 pieces ever across the entire user base. Those Fxxxing custom monsters are even stronger than mini-boss. And now they have skills. WTF Edit: And by the way, they're giving out less experience than those mini-boss? Or not? I just cannot confirm that right now. Edit 2: Thought a bit more. We probably should be able to kill all monsters in 1-2 turns, so it isn't so important? I just tried meleeing for a bit again. Screw Tenbs mobs with skills. Conquest and Bunko are a much greater pain in the ass.
