People could enter the arenas all day long back then as long as they had the credits to pay for it.

Anyway, I'm experimenting with different weapons and armor, mainly cloth armor.

LATER EDIT: I used a rapier with a buckler for weapons, dragon hide, chainmail, silk, and one plate item and I did a RoB on Nintendo and lost at the last second against a Bunneh. I also did To Kill A God on normal and that was slow and boring as fuck but my health didn't drop and I didn't cure myself hardly at all. It took forever to kill Miruku Asahina at the end. I had to take so many turns and it was like pulling teeth. I don't think I have the patience to do End of Days like that.

I think I'll do my regular arenas with my DW/tank setup like I've always been doing. Shit's faster and I can watch TV while I battle. But I'll keep experimenting.

sonic... ridiculously lucky.

Suisfonia and Sonic are either the same person or close personal friends. They've always done coordinated hath transfers through the exchange in the past. Luck had nothing to do with it.

well I saw sonic also picked up a nice little 6000 hath perk too

Today, I tried out some Dragon Hide light armor and a couple of Kevlar pieces. I used a 2 handed Estoc which was fun, shit dies all over the place. I'm doing DW with the lighter armor now. Still switching it up between my wardrobes. I really like the Dragon Hide.

I think the last update was in favor of light/heavy equipment.
Enemies hitting harder but having lower defences doesn't affect us that badly in the long run.
On the other hand since they hit harder light & heavy equipment may actually come in handy.
Perhaps it's a way to make them more useful.

I'm using full set of Heavy Armor.
In IW (Fine/Normal), monster mostly hits me over 10 dmg in melee(non crit, expert ghost and Cockatrice). (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

You can, use cake setting and go into a flimsy piece with full heavy plate equipped, then you can go berserk.

That doesn't allow for progression.

Ask for a katana like this one, domino strikes will allow you to kill faster than 2W.
