I cant agree with that. For me it was nice as long as it lasted. But even before his price drop, he didnt got me even 20% of my whole income.

If I was level 500, I would buy both and do that, but I cannot wear them. And actually, it is probably not so bad to use two rapiers of slaughter in DW. I have actually seriously considered to do it, especially if you just happen to own two strong rapiers of slaughter, I think it can work well.

For example, you got a 95% adb legendary rapier of slaughter for 1H and made it forge 100. Then next year you got a peerless rapier of slaughter for 1H and also made it forge 100. Now it is really not a bad idea to DW with those two rapiers of slaughter, it will be stronger than rapier + wakizashi if you don't have such a strong wakizashi.

should this be true, it would prove the vulnerability of the market. blackjac (and kei, nero-arc, dani, jenga, and whoever else i'm forgetting) just gave players a chance to raise their income.
but don't forget this wasn't completely charity - it was an investment in their eyes. i enjoyed that chance as well, a few times, but as uncle says, it was a nice one while it lasted. another buyer will resurface at a point, so just wait.

seeing how petal kiss bought that peerless dark rapier for ~100m, would a holy non-peerless with peerless stats reach that much? is the name the shiny thing that rich players want or is it the stats?

I guess it is a mix of uniquity of name and stats. So i am quite sure my rapier would not even get near 100m. Maybe something between 20 and 30m.

I've seen another rapier with almost perfect numbers on all stats, including adb, parry, PABs, crits. And it was sold for 10m. So you can tell, that's the difference between a peerless and a non-peerless.
But if it was sent to auction a year ago, it should've reached 15m.

Blame Super for stopping listing important stats of 1h weapons for no reason.

I don't want to overwhelm readers with text that's less-than-absolutely-essential on the main auction page. The lines already get quite long as is. Anyone who wants to look at the less important stats can look at the auction preview post, which lists every relevant (and many not-so-relevant) stats. Useful info, but it's a huge wall of text.

Superlatanium is there any way to see archived versions of your archive preview post? They could be useful to help figure out the base stats of equipment from old auctions that have been upgraded. Sure you can reverse engineer the base stats but it's not uncommon for them to be off by 0.01 and occasionally more due to rounding, calculation, and pxp0 differences.

I consider 97% <--> 80% and 35% <--> 15% close enough. Those two rapiers won't price anywhere near the same these days but it's not like the other rapier was 15% damage and 97% parry. They basically mirror each other in strengths and weaknesses. Maybe we could call them the Little Hand of e-Stark and the Big Hand of e-Stark.

I regret a number of equipments I lost the past half year, including that Peerless Demonic Rapier of Slaughter. Someone dropped another one almost immediately afterward but he didn't want to sell it to me. If anyone has a third one I will match the record and pay 100m for it (offer only guaranteed for a few weeks).
