You sometimes make me think that you are the one who live in tropical jungle for decades and barely know anything about the current market. Both the parry and level make difference. With the trash parry, the low-level one could still sell for at least 500k.

I was thinking of trying the peerless willow lottery since I still have a few million but it's already 400k tickets....

Need no worry, some people just like me are not interested in that willow and many other peerless. We want GLT and anything else instead.

"Bad deals" just happened, and it's nothing about norm. 12.7k is already better than some auction results in short term. Many rich players are having 10000+ stock and lowering material price, they don't care about the "value" but credits instead, even you mark up your price high won't change anything.

Instead, keeping a high price could either be scamming new/casual players, or just waiting some point that market fluctuated and you can sell them in high price. Just like when DD10 was updated, someone even bought Hath@8000c. But the market will soon return back to a stable price like now.

Instead, keeping a high price could either be scamming new/casual players, or just waiting some point that market fluctuated and you can sell them in high price. Just like when DD10 was updated, someone even bought Hath@8000c. But the market will soon return back to a stable price like now.

Considering how the meta is literally shitting on melee and overpowering mages well, the only changes in prices I will accept are mage prices increasing (like they aren't now) and melee prices decreasing (not really happening besides metals).

For the same reason I'm not selling my bindings of destruction anymore as well, of course.

But if one adapts the prices to the bad deals, the bad deals will shift further from those new prices again, and so on.
That's not how the market should work.

The complaint over parry is that unless it is totally the 2nd best stat by far, why list it? Because then it is not fair to stats 3 and 4. That is why I did not complain when Superlatanium took it out. I would still list parry myself, and I am not even one of the players who will fight and pay more for a high parry rapier. If I lose, I will just move on to the next rapier.

(Yet my upcoming good rapiers have high parry, that is just how the luck worked out).

That's fine for you. But as long as rich players are selling more materials at any price cheaper/more expensive, others would trade it anyway. Many players have no patience to markup the HGC price 17k+ which like other does. As they probably couldn't find any pesky mages buying it, pesky mages can still find many other sellers who don't think they are pesky.

That's not how the market should work.

I think this is how market works, no matter it is considered healthy or not.

All rapiers overall, unless endgame, are worthless beyond Lvl400 now.
In other words, anything that isn't Peerless or near-peerless is considered as trash now.
That, is the norm you are talking about.

Parry on the 50k rapier was bad but other useful side stats are strong. Parry is slightly overrated in my opinion, so Superlatanium was possibly right to take it out. I am not convinced it is the second or even the third most important side stat. People will still look at what parry is anyway, which is good.

I always consider the importance of parry overrated. It barely does anything unless one is going for gfs. My mindset=adb>penetrated armors>=parry>others. I am pretty shocked when people ignore penetrated armor, which is the reason why rapiers are favored.

I am not trying to salty, but.......anything happens in the world has causes, just the matter that one cannot be omnipotent enough to notice and value all the causes. Your “should” is based on fallacies and the market won’t give a shit about your “should”.
One reason why materials drop so much is due to the resellers that frequently exploiting the difference between demand and supply. Some regraters buys cheap materials then someone sells st prices cheaper than others in WTS. Other sellers follow the price drop. Then rotations, prices drop. Otherwise, it should’ve taken a lot more time for prices to drop that much.
Similar thing goes for crystals and iw service. One drop prices to get more, the others have to follow to sell.

Yeah. My dark is fine, but I’m quite tired of imperils in gfs. Non-imp has been my ultimate goal. No imps, no death due to imps. The reason why I selected dark at first was because both IMp and non-imp dark work. Meanwhile, through playing and investigating, I’ve come to the fact that non-imp dark is shit. Now I’d rather waste credits on charged heimdalls than radiant fenrirs.
Holy is the strongest. The sooner I switch to it, the less time needed to slowly grind prof factor.
Even imp dark is a degraded version of wind/elec imp due to casting speed, but with proper forging and slot pick, imp dark could be stronger than wind/elec due to the advantage of dark edb on willows.

btw, I’m quite tired of being out bided by lv500 players who suddenly want to play dark……my charged robe took me 12m, highest historical price. I don’t regret at all, doesn’t mean I don’t feel heart-broken about the credits (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Not sure if charged heimdalls would work better than radiant fenrirs in non-imperil style... I thought dark non-imperil style was good, and I afraid you might overrated charged heimdalls.

It is as vincento said, PA chance on a rapier is possibly the 2nd best stat. Yet there is no reason to write it in the auction because everyone can look at it easily. So even though I would list parry, I can understand why Superlatanium took it out, it could be misleading. Crit is the most likely 4th contender, don't forget that besides damage it also inflicts PA.
