QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Sep 1 2018, 08:03) Cant confirm that. For me it is the same for the last few months, no difference at all. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) It's so bad for me, I've stopped mid game. But speed tests and other sites, my speed is flying and over the top. Something is going on. I don't know what, but something.

HV seems slower when I have netflix open on the same browser, do you perhaps use something heavy on yours?

I thought it was due to my network. During some particular hours, I got incredibly slow speed. So I'm not the only one suffer for this.

Even the bidder are forced to place proxy bid, it still affect auction with bid time: Someone could not participate earlier due to malicious bid, they would also not to place bid in the end due to Time-Based Price Multipliers.

The small black list is hiding in the thread [Discussion] Super's auction system. QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Supers auction system) Naughty list:edu5ardo - Sending an item to auction, waiting for it to be bid on, then intentionally taking it back and salvaging / buying back to make it untradable c4f1234 - Bidding on multiple items and then not accepting themhentai_fusion - Bidding a large amount on an item and then not accepting it

There are actually (way) more than that. Such as people who are forbidden to use regular bids and who can only place proxy bids.

Why are there almost 8500 tickets sold for a Peerless Ruby Plate Helmet of Warding in today's lottery? At 250 credits per kGP that converts to almost 2.2m credits, no one would pay anywhere near that amount in auction.
I know lottery isn't the most economical way to obtain peerless, but usually I don't think it is as ridiculous as this.

Because it's peerless even though what is up for today's lottery is a plate helmet. This post has been edited by PersonaFan08: Sep 3 2018, 09:58

QUOTE(Sesshomaru Moon @ Aug 30 2018, 13:08) That's either about the site or it's some secret info about Eso having a drunken night in the outback and his virginity being compromised. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) wait.. what occurs in the outback stays in the outback.

it's not like that 8500 tickets is by single person...

Yes but in terms of cost effectiveness I think it's proper to consider as if it were one person. If you buy 10% of those tickets you have a 10% chance to win. If that Peerless Plate of Warding would only go for 50k credits at auction, everyone together should not put much more than 200 tickets into the pot.
Lottery pots I have seen for desirable items were more comparable to what they are worth at auction, than this crap Plate.

Proper? I would prefer the therm stupid to do that. I put at least some tickets to every auction and i mostly opt out on the equipment. This is not about some shitty plate. It is just about token. Not more than a handfull does even care about that plate, so stop talking about it as it would be otherwhise would you?

What Uncle says is true, it's all about the Chaos Tokens, Splashy. Even winning a few is like striking gold. But shit, I wanted to go for that Peerless Shocking Rapier of the Nimble and clicked the do not want out of habit. Did anyone notice it's at Potency Tier: 10 (MAX)? Did the new owner max it out overnight or did it come like that? Also, does that Peerless Demonic Wakizashi of the Nimble in today's lotto look like a tasty rare item? Think I'll go for that. I don't care for wakis but it reminds me of a unique guitar that you might find at a thrift shop. This post has been edited by Sesshomaru Moon: Sep 4 2018, 01:33

I don't care for wakis but it reminds me of a unique guitar that you might find at a thrift shop. I guess the new owner maxed it out overnight, I didn't realize that the lottery updated its old equips like that. The Peerless Demonic Wakizashi of the Nimble was a great deal, the entire pot converted into credits was 4.576m which is exactly equal to its auction price. Considering you could get a Golden Ticket or Chaos Tokens, you could say that Peerless Wakizashi went for 500k~1m (divide by 5 due to there being 5 prizes, then divide by 2 if you use a Golden Ticket). I guess the lottery can be a great way to get peerless after all, especially expensive or medium class useable ones. I guess I should start playing the lottery once in a while. The other prizes in the Demonic Wakizashi lottery were 1 Golden Ticket (500k~1m?), 2 Caffeinated Candies (100k I guess), or two prizes of 19 Chaos Tokens. So I guess Chaos Tokens are worth about 70k each? Let's try that math on the Peerless Ruby Plate Helmet of Warding lottery. Prizes were 1 Golden Ticket (lets say 1m) 1 Caffeinated Candy (50k), or two prizes of 9 Chaos Tokens. So the Chaos Tokens would be worth 60k each from that pool. I guess it does make sense.

I highly doubt you would get them that cheap if you actually could trade with them. I am just glad we cant.

Let's look at a couple other recent items. Peerless Ethereal Wakizashi of Balance had a whopping pool of 34m, so that Peerless Wakizashi of Balance was maybe effectively sold for 4.25m~8.5m (34m divided by 4 decent prizes, then divide by 2 if Golden Ticket used to enter) which is indeed about the auction price. Other prizes were 3 Golden Tickets (3m), 14 Caffeinated Candies (700k), or two prizes of 136 Chaos Tokens. In this lottery the Chaos Tokens are 80k each. It's a remarkably consistent prize distribution system. (You could also consider that these Chaos Tokens were 40k each if you used a Golden Ticket to enter).
Peerless Amber Plate Gauntlets of Deflection had a pool of roughly 900k, so if we consider that the 1 Golden Ticket is worth 1m, then the alternative prizes of 4 Chaos Tokens are totally free, worth 0k. (If we ignore the Golden Ticket prize, then each Chaos Token is worth 100k).
Moral of the story is that if you like Chaos Tokens it is fine to enter any lottery, but it's best to aim for cheap ones with only 4000 to 8000 tickets, or any that come with an equipment you want.
If you only want the equipment, medium good ones like Peerless Demonic Wakizashi of the Nimble are still worth entering. You should probably not enter lotteries for great equipment like Peerless Ethereal Wakizashi of Balance or PHOH. You should probably not enter lotteries for crap equipment, but if you do, enter an amount you are willing to pay for the crap, so 20~200 tickets (5k~50k credits) and if you are fortunate maybe everyone else will opt out and you will win by default.
