Killing them is not actually the problem.

Elementalists have little problem reaching 0.68 prof factor, so I doubt if prof is actually so important for them. Other status may be more important. For some high level players, even some lv500 holy mage who uses gloves and shoes, prof is no that important since they can achieve required factors easily.

It is partially wrong in HV 0.86.


Holy mage (oak staff) and dark mage (willow staff) can reach 1.0 prof factor easliy with cotton gloves and shoes, hence the excessive proficiency is meaningless.

This is why I think the proficiency of equipment is unimportant.


For elemental mages, it is something different because of a trade-off relation between a proficiency and edb.

When HV 0.85, 0.68 prof factor 'was' the effective number and elec/wind mages (willow staff) should use cotton pants or cap.

Now it can be done with gloves or shoes, but it is still impossible to reach 0.788 prof factor which is the maximum point of elemental mages.
(Imperil with 0.788 prof factor eliminates 75% mitigation)

So, the high proficiency is useful and you should consider all primary stats such as a proficiency, cs, evade and pabs.

I had to run the numbers. Still not at 0.68 prof. I suppose that is what the extra Assimilator trainings I am putting in will help towards. Or just change my Charged Cap of Mjolnir to the Elementalist I own!

When I play FSM RoB, I always hope to kill it within one imperil. So I noticed that more charged achieves this, and more radiant requires a second imperil for just 5 turns or so. I thought that would mean that the charged is stronger against FSM. But the number of rounds is the same. Makes sense, higher cast speed allows me to cast more spells while the imperil counts down from 40. Still, I prefer only 1 imperil. Too lazy to cast it again.

had the same thought for a long time, a few weeks before, imperil ran out less than 10 more attacks for FSM to die, now that I have DD1 it may/may not die within that imperil, for sure it does on buffed days

I actually intended to go for it but it's boots, which gives very small stat compared to pieces like body or legs or head. Also the ADB is worse than mine.

I used to have a pet bird in my room who did in fact eat them. It did a good job with the roaches and termites, but was too afraid to eat the geckos most of the time. They were too strong, so it only ate them if I killed them first. I would still have it, but they stopped making proper bird food for it and it began to get unhealthy, so I released it into the wild, where it lived a very long life.

Not really tbh, also you always had the chance to bid for the piece if you feel you can still get a good deal at 2m then sell back to people at a higher price

You do realize that savage is just fancy prefix that works as laughable amount of your actual damage since it doesn't effect counters?
