MAny suggestion on that(maybe hover setup or evade/mitigation investment?), Senpai? Picking Hover among healing, imperils and mana potion/elixirs is driving me crazy..

what you are trying to achieve, and with the budget you have, is very, very hard. Play on somewhat lower difficulty for a while, to gather some more funds. Only quick fixes that you can do is: Do a bounty. Sell a gold star. Stuff like that will help you.

mana potion: what I do is I take it as soon as available. Even if full effect isn't guaranteed. You could set it up like this:
- start round with hover = false
- hovershift = imperil + toggle hover
- shift + x = toggle hover
- x = take mana potion + toggle hover
- hover = dark spells
Start round with shift pressed+ x to imperil, then release shift and press x to start attack

This way, you will try to take mana potion every round.

Next to that, you need to keep up mana draughts as well, all the time.

Then for healing: get charged. Full charged. I managed to reach 36% cast speed bonus with my full charged full imperil style play. But combined with good damage, 4 charged is enough for imperil play (32% for me).

With enough charged, and imperil, and prof factor of 0.8, you will be able to play decently even without forging phases. Then, you can start saving The Big Spend - forging the shit out of all of you gear. Selling 1 GS will not be enough for this, oh no.

Alternative? Consider switching to elemental, which is a bit easier to get right. Only 0.68 prof factor needed.

Thanks for all the advice. I'd say I'm trying to get used to cast imperils, heals constantly. As for prof factor...yea I'm already 0.836 with my shoes and gloves prof 15 forged, so I'm not sure what advantage elementals have you are referring to. I have no problem surviving in PFD Arena though, with health elixirs occasionally. My mana is still decreasing with only draughts and potions right now I need a mana elixir maybe every 15 rounds.

So they won't sell for only 50k, 100k sometimes. Good for the sellers. The starting bids are protecting the sellers' interests.

Prof shoes only for 0.68. Your gloves would be adding damage!

My way of casting imperil is safer, as it will not work when health is critical. Your way can lead to imperil-to-death.

I'm utterly sick and tired of being trolled by HV. This is why I've stayed away from Arenas and such. I see the very same people every time in Auction selling the high-value stuff, with maybe a new face once in like forever. I'd be in the hospital for hypertension if I kept beating myself in the face with masochistic zeal in Arenas where it's now designed to make you take longer than ever to complete, more risk of death at PFUDOR but the same chance of gain as before, which is like just enough above nonexistent that "but look at my hundred million dollar lottery ticketloot!!" is a thing because someone outside the cool player circle got lucky 1 in a million times. Winning better gear in Auctions is a joke with the bid wars that even Donald Trump couldn't win. This game has turned into an absolute list of superlatives in terms of being tedium and frustration at every level, in my opinion the best bet is to collect your monster gifts, and stick to random encounters, get your daily proficiency boost and that's it.

Nothing wrong with phase of sniffl'em. You only need to iwbth dwd for the guaranteed daily mag, and half-hourlies have the best drops, so you've only trolled yourself on this one. It's a cash shop game, but the cash shop is replaced with donations. Catgirls get like half a million a day just for hitting f5, so if all you want are chichis, there they are.

Today I will remind them: the auction block is not the place for discounts. Smaller and smaller stat boosts are worth larger and larger increments of money. Auctions should carry huge prices. If you want gear that's practically the same but at 5-10% of the cost, make a wtb or try decon's auction.
There is a reason why slightly stronger weapons have significanly higher prices, though. You're basically paying the difference in slaughter bindings.

I didn't say he was rich, but hgc is better than a lot of worthless legs. The evade and all three pabs are above mag max, too. Level 400 is the real killer (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Is there going to be a new HV patch soon? I've got some stuff saved up that I want to sell but over in WTB the prices are dismal. We need an update to light a fire under the mages' asses and make them want to buy things at high prices again.
