I'm pretty sure the HG mats start at PL 600 instead, at least it looked like that in my monsters.

If I'm not mistaken, someone has already made that count, and it came up with something around 700 artifacts (to obtain 1 point of each PAB).

personally i don't see anything wrong in supporting an auctioneer as well. also, props to you for not crashing the market while still making a buyer happy, yep.

I was reading the discussion about using Shortswords on the other topic ("Ask the Experts!"), and I decided to do a simple test.

I did a PFUDOR 76-round IW with a Rapier and a Shortsword. I used Imperil all the time.

Legendary Shocking Rapier of Slaughter + Infusion of Divinity

Time: 12 min 18 sec

Apparently the result with Shortsword does not look that bad. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) However, certainly for a larger number of rounds, this difference tends to increase. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) I do not know what will be the result for a SG Arena. Maybe I'll take that test on the weekend. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The ideal would also be to make the comparison with an equal ADB (or at least as close as possible), and also with the same IW in both swords.

Another possible test would be to make the comparison for the same amount of upgrades. As my rapier is all level 50, I would have to do the same with my shortsword. But I'll leave that to the future, when I decide to do the IW of this equipment: Peerless Shocking Shortsword of Slaughter. I hope that until that day I get a Peerless Rapier of Slaughter, so I can make a fairer comparison. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

My last point took me something like almost 3k~ artifacts including easter drops (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) . And I didn't get my first +str bonus until like 90+ total points, rng will be rng.

Should've crashed the market! (Pls send pm before you do), cheap hath for everyone! There's only a handful of people who could've afford that amount of hath whilst also not being a hath baron. But I agree even with a 10% fee you would still do better compared to dumping it on the market.
