there's plenty of things that aren't known in medicine. most autoimmune disorders aren't understood at all; neither is mental illness, mechanisms of dementia, alzheimers, neuroanatomy, i could go on. medicine/science is light years ahead compared to 20 years ago. Takes time. research is difficult !

technically speaking, an "organ" is a whole aggregate of tissues which concur to realize the same function - so even skin could be an organ. to be fair, the vastest organ we have on our body (roughly 1.5~2 m^2 on an adult). yet, would you consider it an organ, knowing what liver, heart and lungs are? Sometimes these 'scientists' have nothing better to do than rustle up a storm of their own research papers. It's a way to try to convince the boards at the National Institutes of Health to fund their research.

That's absolutely correct. At first attack, i felt i could die anywhere anytime soon. But when i got the result and maintain myself till now, i feel a lot better as long as i can keep my self aware of anything that could drop me low....
