so that leaves us with, uh... an octopus software that among other things doesn't even allow you to specify how much disk space to use as cache (don't try telling me that command line bullshit, i tried and it doesn't work) and a browser. this is my view, at least

When scripting, I continue to use FF 56 because AFAIK it's the only modern browser that can read userscripts directly from the hard drive - other browsers, including FF 57+, generally require you to use your userscript manager's built-in editor, and they're pretty lacking and don't support modularization, linting rules, or other fancy stuff.

But FF has serious memory leak problems, so for other things not related to web development I generally use Chrome, because it works and isn't (much) of a hassle to customize the way I want.

Damn, in latest chrome update they changed how they underline stuff, now underlines are all broken up, i kinda hate it

Firefox is shit, and if I got it installed it's only because, unlike Chrome, it allows me to download videos.
Chrome is shit, but overall it's the "least worst" out of the lot. I prefer having only a diarrhea rather than the plague... that will probably give me diarrheas anyway. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Yeah, the old FF was pretty rad in the way you could have more direct access through script, now though...
