BTW, tried doing 1 arena. Can't really say much about the change yet but seem to be good overall. The "Agitated" mode seem a bit overkill, though, I thought it's going to work like poison (IE: take effect AFTER they had attack for that turn) but its not. It probably justified for the fact that you gained more power though, or maybe the aim is for it to be able to kick mage ass... I still really can't say much about it now.

Are the mazes randomly generated? I could swear I've seen some repeated ones.

In addition to mazes, a suggestion could be:

"Push the green button". (With the occasional "Don't press") With coloured buttons. This idea reminds me of WarioWare.

But I think bots can easily solve that.

Well, I guess most I find are garbage, but I've found plenty fines better than that `\(o_O)/`

MDM has an annoying large range, and stats no one gives a shit about (like staff ADM and Wind EDB) fuck over then accuracy of quality ratings.

What's the trendy mage setup? Do people still use Elementalist or is it all about specialized EDB now?

Specialized EDB suits do more damage, but are much harder to acquire, so elementalist stuff is still quite popular.

Artifacts haven't been changed, but their hath yield is directly calculated from their value.

So how does this work exactly? Cashing them in gave 5-7 hath when it was worth 20k, and now when it's worth 25k it reverts back to 2-4 hath?

That depends on a number of factors. Player level (character proficiency/ratings) and amount of already equipped EDB/Prof.

Hummm. I might be interested. Of my backup elementalist set, I guess my robe is the worst overall piece. It would depend on what you wanted.
I can't speak for the other high levels.

I think most high levels will have different equipment setups and use a different for what they are doing at the time.

Demon-fiend/holy/fox for gods or final areans (I often use holy or soul for hard-heroic IW)

EDB Mjolnir for grindfest & IW when you want to one shot stuff. I often use the same setup for BT-IW.
I use a full elemental setup with an elements staff when I do IWBTH or Trio&Tree-BT since I know i'll be casting more then 2 different element spells. But I often change the staff to a Destruction staff so my Soul damage is higher the final round of T&T.

I think EDB equipment is always going to sell for more then elemental stuff unless its very good.

You should read the new rules, anyway:

- Monsters will now become Agitated when they are below 20% health. Agitated monsters do 50% more damage than normal. (=150%)
-- While monsters are at above 80% health, they now do 25% less damage than before. (=75%)
-- While mostly to make long battles less about settling into a routine, this is also a buff to classes that focus on one monster at a time.
-- Visually, Agitated monsters are displayed with red text. A log entry is also created whenever a monster enters the Agitated state.

I've done 400+ rounds on my Magnificent on BT (yes my Magnificent is level 400+), and it's really not terribly exciting.

Can you still do that in this patch without using elixirs? My Exquisite Mace of the Ox (365) isn't much fun anymore since I need elixirs to clear it now. And I like that item because it seems to drop a lot of good stuff. Most drops are Superior and I often would get Exquisites, more so then other items i would level on BT.

I'm gonna go give it a shot right now. Probably going to result in massive failure but oh well.
