Bucklers of the Nimble are shit. I did the proper calculations to come to that conclusion some time ago. Without even considering the monster's anti-parry, just by the Legendary average and unforged base stats, the 8.6% chance to parry the monster attacks is absolutely miserable compared to the 21% boost in the block chance given by the Barrier suffix. I'm not even talking about how it's twice more expensive to raise both Block+Parry than just Block alone. The day Bucklers of the Nimble get a parry chance of 30% parry, they will become viable, but still on par with Barrier due to anti-parry and magical attacks. Those who are bidding on that shield are wasting their money. |

It's 9.77% in the first case, but we don't need to take anything else in account besides the shield itself, since parry and block are stats that work as layers. If I take your calculation a bit further, the Barrier option is 18.96% more efficient than the Nimble. Shows how much how one doesn't even need to consider the other equipments to estimate that difference in efficiency. Though there seems to be a sliiight decrease in the disadvantage of Nimble compared to Barrier when you consider perfect forge 50 stats. Most likely due to the Nimble range being wider and/or the scale factor being slightly more powerful for Nimble than for Barrier (I don't have the factors under the eyes and I don't want to bother with it anyway). I don't know about paid archives' system, but I downloaded 2015-2017 archives. 2017 archives are totally free (yeah..
