Some of them bought them in the past, tried them, and found that they're not to their liking. (wow, both the equipment and the player got the same pronoun). So, rather than collecting digital dust in their inventory, they sent them to auction. Quick and easy clearance, profit unguaranteed.

I only play PF. As of now though I'm avoiding the time-consuming arenas because of the need to go PF to raise profs. After this I've got nothing to say about drops (hooray, right?) because I'm going to be playing less. So trophies will really be a rarity for me, and purchasing them is right out.

they still award a decent incoming though. just purchase a sub-optimal Holy staff, IW it, some cheap Heimdall pieces and play them at Hard difficulty.
