Somebody told me that crude IW is a very good way to level up fast, if you are a low level player. What do you guys think? Would that work? Crude means that the monsters don't hit hard, so perhaps you can manage higher difficulty compared to arena's?

It probably works, first page arenas have 1.0 multiplier so they don't give much EXP.
Doing Crude IW possibly @IWBTH or even @PFUDOR would probably give ton of EXP and nice drops.
It may be a good idea to do both, finish all arenas for credits and then Crude IW at the hardest difficulty possible for EXP and drops.

Same person bought both. I was wondering why someone would do that since it is untradeable, but then I realized that you could do IW10 on both items, and just throw away the one that doesn't get your preferred prefix.

what *may* help you (even if i don't know how much exactly) is Assimilator training. caution though, because it costs 65M. people suggest to train it to lv 10 (which is worth ~4.5M already, btw)

it's not mandatory. you can enter with a temporary nick and no password + Identify to Rizon option, iirc. just avoid nicks starting with "guest" and "__".

a password will be needed when you will (eventually) want to identify yourself as actually being yourself.
