What helpful scripts you can recommend to make tagging process easier/more effective?
Maybe there is already some handsome scripts that can make my life as a beginner tagger easier?

Tag Check is probably the most important. Without it, there's no way to figure out which of your upvoted tags get downvoted, and without that, there's no way to learn where you're making mistakes and where you most need to improve. (unless you get a PM from a moderator)

For vigilante work, there's also Rename Helper [screenshot, description]. Tagging and renaming are often done at the same time, after all.

There's also Gallery List Helper so you can see gallery tags (or Japanese titles) before you click on the gallery (in addition to a bunch of other useful small tweaks).

I am using proxy, so not amazed, but still...

If you get a star, your image limits will become tied to your account rather than to your (shared/proxy) IP address.

Well, I can't say it. I will surely give valiant effort in winning it, but might be not as vicious. I have this lingering doubt that similar equipment will appear next week, when I am more readily bind and use it.

Rapier is good. Ice prefix is best elemental prefix and suits well for Flame Spike Shield.
ADB and Parry are solid.

As for max bid... I am not an expert in pricing at all, don't even know what amount of credits one should spend here, sorry.

It is a very good and nice behaviour and trait of character if you want "to share" piece of equipment to another person, who maybe in more demand than you and, probably, can use it right after buying.
There are two auctions and dozens of shops. I believe you can find a good rapier for you if you really want to.

On other hand, if you can buy this rapier and you have enought resources, why should you stay aside? This is an auction, not a charity, why you should stop a competition ? >:)

Don't imply the wrong idea: elemental strikes don't have any interaction whatsoever with elemental procs on the mobs.
The choice of an element on a melee weapon depends solely on the the elemental resistance of the monsters. In which case holy/dark is the best if you consider clearing the SG arenas, whatever your spike shield. And if you don't count SGs then ice may be the best, in which case I want to know what study led to that conclusion.

Furthermore, flame spike shield is generally seen as the best for 1H because it reduces the amount of damage that you tank without reducing the amount of attacks that you receive. But if you do can tank well enough anyway, then the best is the shock spike shield which reduces the monster's evade/resist.

IMHO, the best rapier is a Holy/Dark Rapier + an infusion, Ice for regular gameplay if Ice really is the best, holy/dark to get both against the SGs.

It is true that holy and dark rapier is better for killing SG and noone tries to disapprove it. I have stated above that ice prefix is best elemental prefix for rapier, not best prefix overall. Elementals are fire, ice, elec and wind, according to proficiency and abilities, - among them ice rapier is best (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Elec is the worst one, actually. But it's probably still above fire due to the actual numbers of monsters created.

Resistance to ice have 8/13 monsters (green 25 cell)
Resistance to elec have 9/13 monsters
Huge weakness to ice have 2/13 monsters (red 50 cell)
Huge weakness to elec has 1/13 monsters

However, Hope, is right: it is all depend on the type of monsters people created more. If vast majority of monsters are Mechonoids and Giants (both are weak to elec, but strong to ice), then electro rapier is better, no doubts.

But in ideal world, where all 13 types of monsters populated the game equally, then ice is better. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

On other hand, how fast speed time with ice rapier versus elec rapier will be? I don't think the difference would be that significant. Maybe 5 minutes plus for arena run...?

For my part, I consider the best element to be the element that has the highest ratio "hit a weak point"/"hit a resistance". So of course giants and arthropods will weigh more in the balance than squishy monsters like celestials. But in the other hand you have to count the number of high PL monsters of each type.
