I see no reason why he wouldn't.
As long as the requests are done correctly there is nothing unfair/offensive in the script.

but just want to give an example of prohibited non-battle script. Conditioner this - script will automatically check bazaar pages every minute and will inform you when specific equipment in on sale (say cloth-stuff with price less than 17500 so you can salvage it for HGC lately). Script will not buy it on its own, but will inform you - that will make it illegal because it gives unfair advantages compare to other players.

I don't think that dumb refreshing can be, even remotely, compared to a script giving obvious advantage without any effort.
(and I still find strange that someone may ends up without internet for days)

But also agree with Sapo84 that getting gifts from monsters in "automatic" mode it not that "hard violating" as, say, botting.

With considering all said above, I would say that any script that will automate gift-collecting will violate the rules and will be prohibited with 65% sure. If Tenboro will allow it in one way or another - I will be only glad, but still it sounds fishy for me, sorry (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ...but once again it is not that bad as auto-bazaar parser or auto-clicker at monsters...

We can mail Tenboro after all and asked him, but don't look at me - in past seven days I mailed him 4 or 5 times already, don't want to bother him anymore with such misc questions (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

You're not getting anything more than what you have already earned though.
Same is true with refreshing the site daily, you get credits/hath/GPs, but whatever you get it's what you earned by donating/partecipating in the community, the daily refresh it's just a trigger.
Appearing "active" when you have no internet access doesn't seem that grave of a sin to me (and it doesn't even require scripting to be implemented so it's pretty pointless to even talk about it since no one is actually writing anything, it's just an ethical debate).

It is one of this situation when I do not like the idea has being said by person, but cannot find any vital arguments (only ethic, morale and emotions) to opposite his idea clearly, so, supposedly he is right despite I don't like what he is saying.
My opinion is that such script is illegal with 65% sure, but I am not totally opposite to it, because Sapo84 arguments are vital and logical for me.
Probably, my paranoia is wrong, or I just cannot find any clear arguments to oppose him with right now =)

Fact of the matter is that only Admin will ban botters. The mods of this forum should however do everything to prevent this, by stopping or even removing discussions of potential bannable scripts. Just my 2 ct.
