QUOTE(Scremaz @ Aug 28 2017, 22:32) indeed. look at the hat at the center bottom.
QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Aug 28 2017, 22:35) Or the tail in the center top. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) true (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) But If you notice the inverted head at bottom there is no half circular cut in head.So this pic is defective. It was the reason i got wrong answer. Is it possible that at least those riddles which too confusing be removed (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I give you a little hint, if the number you say is bigger than zero, your answer will be wrong. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) -1? Only times I get it wrong is when my connection fails just at the moment of riddle. Then it doesn't load or my answer isn't sent.

Oh, dont remind me. That was a huge problem when i was around with just 2G internet. In those days i really wished the riddle wouldnt start the timer before the pic was loaded. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

QUOTE(sigo8 @ Aug 27 2017, 02:06) But only the identity of losing bids can be kept secret. The identity of the winner will always be exposed by the equipment page.
I know I'm a bit behind, but if I remember correctly someone was banned for having friends bid up items in order to make people pay more, and if the "friend" wins they just relist it and do it again.

i find a lot wrong with that. a pair of people attempting to scam people into thinking that a piece of equipment is perceived at a higher value by the HV community than it actually is. it is a scummy practice that shouldn't be encouraged by you of all people. edit: wait are you ok with the ban or the scam? pardon me if i made a mistake about you defending the practice. Makes me remember a bid shilling (is that the word?) scandal in my country. A model auctioned a mobile SIM card, inflated the price to over 800k USD but the last bidder was her acquaintance. The fact that she promised to send a portion of that money to charity made things even more awkward. Decided to bullshit her way through by canceling the auction though. I guess it's kinda in a gray zone, some say legal, some say not.

Are there any other puzzles available aside from ponies in the latest version? I remember the maze puzzle before.

I dont believe in bad luck with something we can affect thought preparation and careful handling. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) QUOTE(-Shun- @ Aug 29 2017, 15:27) Are there any other puzzles available aside from ponies in the latest version? I remember the maze puzzle before.

The maze puzzle was easily defeated by automated solvers. I didn't actually intend to remove it entirely, but the imaginary slider was accidentally left on 100% pony / 0% maze after some debugging, and the overall opinion seemed to be "good riddance". I guess that was mostly because the pony one really is much faster to solve after some minimal effort invested learning the ponies.
