can't stand a single day without cashing out
This makes the most sense for maximizing overall revenue from selling, though; quantity-wise, anything other than an attempted somewhat-constant sell rate will mean there are peaks during certain days and troughs during others. If someone's sell price is near the lowest on the market, some of their stuff will sell; if their sell price is higher than the lowest price, their stuff probably will not sell.
Any strategy other than "sell pretty close to the current lowest sell price 24/7" likely results in less revenue for the seller in the end, assuming they're continuously generating a large amount of hath. Each day that goes by without them selling some of their hath means a bit more quantity they have to sell later to make up for it, and the way to sell more quantity at once is to set your sell price lower, which is not something you want to have to do.
This is especially true since the long-term trend is that the price will always go down.
I'm still convinced that the best solution is to have a mechanism where people buy hath in exchange for some sort of temporary bonus; that way, there's continuous demand. As is, once a player gets all the perks they want, they have no incentive to ever buy any hath again. Adding more perks only kicks the can down the road a bit.
