When I'm playing an arena and say by some miracle get a Chaos Token dropped but go to the next round really fast, whenever I try to backspace to the previous page to see if I wasn't imagining things, it takes me to the arena page instead.

So in other words, I can't go back anymore. Is that on purpose? And also, I don't recall ever being able to open more than one HV window at a time but now you can open as many windows of it as you want.

Yeah, that's what happens now, since on HV turns, you aren't getting entire page responses anymore, you're only interacting with the javascript on the page to call /json , which replaces parts of the page. (look at the response text for details)

Since you aren't being navigated to a new page on new turns, you can't "go back" to a previous turn like that, since it's not a standalone page saved in your browser cache.

I struggle to make even 10,000 credits so I'm amazed players can spend 1 million credits to buy a Legendary Demonic Rapier of Slaughter. I suspect the game is different for high level players with stars. I wonder if it is even reasonably possible for a free player to become like that.

I think the high level Legendary Rapier is good and stats okay, but low level players cannot use it. I wonder though, with soulfuse do all the stats adjust? I have never soulfused anything before, but I have a suspicion that the status ailment (Penetrated Armor, etc) does not adjust. I know the higher level weapons have much better status ailment ability when they drop. So maybe there is some advantage to the high level items.

I am trying to use Item World on my low level Legendary Rapier now to make it strong enough to be worth using. But it takes so long and my level goes up so much, by the time I am done it might be too low level and useless. I have a few Amnesia Shard but I decided not to use it because I am so weak and poor, I cannot afford to waste time to reset.

Why would you want to go back anyway? You got a summary of the loots with monsterbation once you've finished the arena.

The difference is not the star, but the level. High level players can clear battles much more quickly, with much better gear and abilities, compared to low-level players.

Stars do help with getting to a higher level quicker, but there are other methods too.

High level players can get to the point of getting 300k+/day after doing all the arenas in an hour or two, regardless of star.

No, none of the base stats adjust; stats always stay the same unless the equipment starts to break, or if the equip gets forged or IWd.

Don't worry about getting specific potencies; your main benefit by far will be simply having it at IW10, and shards aren't something a low-level player can justify spending much. If I were you, reforge at level 1 or 2 if you get Swift Strike (worse than useless), and be happy with anything else. Don't reforge past level 2.

Also, soulfuse ASAP; having a soulfused rapier to use is one of the largest permanent steps up in HV, and soulfused gears gain much more PXP than non-soulfused gears.

(that's if you're IWing by yourself. if you want to send it to someone else to IW it for you, of course don't soulfuse until after you get it back)

If you soulfuse with your rapier, it's damage and primary attributes will go up (I think you should do that).
After level 250 I was earning 80-90k every day just with the arenas (and selling all the garbage), so you just need patience. Play as much as you can, of course

Spending millions in a leg rapier is not a must-do to progress. It's fairly doable to progress only with the stuff that you loot, not to mention that it's very difficult to find exceptional gear at a lower level.

If you really want to have better gear, a good Exquisite and then a Magnificent is already a big step. Not to mention that Exquisites need only low grade materials for the 5 first upgrade levels, so it's relatively cheap to power up. That's a thing that I should have done before myself.

Once you get better equipment, you can clear arenas faster or maybe even play them at a higher difficulty, both a which allow you to get credits quicker. Which then allows you to get even better equipment.

You can also get many credits by having an entire army of low PL monsters, which will loot rare materials that can be sold to other players for a fairly good price, or even more than 100kC for a Binding of Slaughter. And I'm not talking about selling trophies/artifacts either.

Good luck IWing your rapier. I for one know very well that IWing an equipment at any difficulty below PFUDOR is the worst pain ever. And it wastes stamina, to top it off.

Not to mention that Exquisites need only low grade materials for the 5 first upgrade levels, so it's relatively cheap to power up. That's a thing that I should have done before myself.

I think sooner or later mid-grade metals price will drop closer to 300C, which is really cheap too.
For materials I would always suggest buying from WTB, there are probably a lot of players with unused materials.
