Having it be completely free opens yourself up to exploitation. Not that you can't, but I might suggest:
(*) Weapons/staff only (armor IW is nearly useless unless you get Juggernaut, which you aren't going to spend shards going for)
(*) Require the person using the service to soulfuse the equip after getting it back (a not-entirely-trivial investment on their part), just to ensure that they put a bit of thought into it before asking, and so that the IW goes to good use for a while
Dunno about your stamina situation, but if you're having to buy EDs, you might charge a bit, enough to supplement your lost stamina (and to ensure that those asking you think a bit about it before just jumping on you after seeing the word "free"), but still low enough to be at a heavy discount compared to other services.
