I think you're on the right track: get something that isn't headless so you can run a browser on it, something whose ping to HV is low, and that way your reaction time / prediction time will become more of a factor, and your external ping will become less of a factor.

But is that worth it just for HV? I dunno... (either way, you can help out by also running H@H on it)
