QUOTE(Logii @ Jun 2 2017, 12:35) That was unexpected (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I wonder if this is going to be the rebalancing patch and/or AJAX patch or just some smaller changes. It will be interesting to see if any of the suggestions have made it through in case it's rebalancing (nerfing (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)) patch. Maybe now is not the time to make major equipment investments after all. Who is this Ajax? What has Amsterdam football club to do with HV?

Ajax is what the Reloader script uses.

yep, a programming language or something like that. one of tenboro's plans is to make HV natively rely on it.

QUOTE(Logii @ Jun 2 2017, 13:04) Speaking of the actual value of Figurines, has anyone done research on the shrine value of Figurines? I would be interested to know what kind of materials you are expected to get from shrining Figurines on average. With that information it would be possible to set a price for them for shrining use rather than OFC use (which will inevitably increase the prices a bit). I suppose the problem is that even the most hardcore grinders probably don't have enough Figurine drops to get a large enough sample size (at least ~500, preferably 1000+) and with the OFC inflated price it's probably not worth buying them for shrining either. Also material prices are constantly changing, which would change the expected profit too (but not the expected materials). Some hath baron should buy 1k Figurines and post shrining resutls for them (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) At least I could sell my duplicates for the Bazaar price for example, for a greater cause. QUOTE(Greshnik @ Jun 2 2017, 19:04) but the wiki says that your prof gain is much greater before lv. 250... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) But it's also slower (in fact it gets much slower) when it starts reaching your current level (and since your are already above level 200 you are probably already close to the normalized level). So if you're low level it's a continous slow grind to have the prof maximized. QUOTE(Greshnik @ Jun 2 2017, 19:04) also I grinding prof because I only started switching playstyles from DW light to 1H heavy (before grind my prof are 0-10 for 1H and Heavy)... so I thought why not grind now before I completely switching style... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Because in most styles the prof already increases during usage, so there is 0 incentive in grinding what you can get by normally playing. For example, supportive prof will always reach max level sooner or later (I'd say before level 300 you will already have it maxed, and by playing normally). You have to consider that EXP is fixed (a level 1 gains the same amount of EXP of a level 499) while each new level-up needs increase EXP, so the higher level you are the more you have to play to gains levels, the more you play the higher the prof increases and so on. That's why the prof gain is higher at low level, because the level increases so much faster and prof lags behind. This doesn't happen past, 200-250 and profs do naturally catch up to your level, so no need to grind them. QUOTE(Scremaz @ Jun 2 2017, 20:45) yep, a programming language or something like that.

That look like a 2:2:2:1 ratio, I wanna see an even bigger sample.

well you right about slowing down past lv 200... I regret it when I accidentally opened gallery when dawn happen and made me lv. up to 201... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) my prof gain slowed down from 1.5-2.5 prof per round to 0.10-0.50 per round... I understand your point... for now I'll forget grind my prof and just lvling as usual... I also already burn out from grind before... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Given the results I would say that a 1:1:1:1 is more likely. QUOTE(Scremaz @ Jun 2 2017, 23:01) When you're an IT guy you start to hate everything non-technical about technology (films/tv series with casual use of hacking are the worst offernders). Case in point, AJAX (and the X in AJAX is not even used anymore) is just a bunch of technologies used for bypassing the need of full page reload, programming languages are another thing entirely.

There's going to be an update and I can't even enjoy it due to my common "fast" internet. I miss the high speed internet that eliminated most of the lag and blinking on the HV page. First world problems are still problems. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) QUOTE(nec1986 @ Jun 2 2017, 02:01) New pot system.

Howdy, I haven't been here in forever and everything is different lol. 10B's been working hard at this lol.
Also being rusty as hell, I ended up venturing into a random encounter on PFUDOR without knowing it. Good times. Good times. Maybe I should sell my shit.
