So anyway, the 10% bonus when I bought my gold star is now worth another $100 donation... Should I donate it now to lock in the value, or ... wait for bitcoin to go closer to the moon so that it can be worth $200 donation and get to the tri-star tier?

it's pure speculation. It went up strongly, it has to do with ransonware, some companies are stocking BTC just in case they need to pay. But anything can happen, a bit of insecurity in one of the mayor wallet providers and 'poof' its gone.

I wonder if this is going to be the rebalancing patch and/or AJAX patch or just some smaller changes. It will be interesting to see if any of the suggestions have made it through in case it's rebalancing (nerfing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)) patch. Maybe now is not the time to make major equipment investments after all.
