Yeah. I do think that Peerlesses are somewhat too common nowadays and a "super-peerless" of sorts isn't a terrible idea, that way there is a gear type whose stat range is genuinely rare. But a significant issue here is power creep. Making players stronger (via better gear quality) just for the sake of it probably isn't a great idea, but when adjustment patches come out, sometimes ranges have to be tweaked, and players may complain if they don't find themselves better off. (maybe, if gear ranges get tweaked, tweak monster stats as well to keep up?)

Another issue is gear rarity. Nowadays, high quality gear of pretty much every type is relatively common. High level players (450+) very rarely replace their great gears, but may get drops of high quality gears every so often. (or, what used to be high quality gears, until their overabundance killed their value) Perhaps solid great gears should be rare enough to be pretty difficult to acquire, even for high level players.

A related problem is that once something is released, such as quality X+ gears, it's quite hard to ever go below that in the future without massive riots.

Yay a +1. We already have players hitting the ceiling (max level, trainings, gear, perks, ect.) An overhaul would be nice, tweaking monster stats, tweaking procs, making armor pen no longer the best, reducing the need for imperil and making it more tactical ect.

I think its better to create new ways to upgrade your gear than follow "the boring way of new ranges".

It works better for all players + "you can make your stuff cooler in battle" sound great compared to "hey, all your stuff is shit now, go grind/buy something new"

Hoping the path is merging gear, as an alt to salvaging it, and possibly needing forge mats to do

are you sure you didn't refresh twice? should be about time for a new RE, try to only refresh once, also any gallery should also create a link

Alright, I think I see what I'm doing wrong. Maybe. Do these events only trigger at specific times? The wiki gave the impression it was an event available once throughout an entire day, but the fact that I randomly got a RE means it's probably at a specific time.
