QUOTE(yami_zetsu @ Mar 3 2017, 05:45) Mythic I had the idea form harvest moon:friends of mineral town normal->copper->silver->gold->mystrile->cursed->blessed->mythic that was the game I spent the longest before this s**t (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) QUOTE(skillchip @ Mar 3 2017, 16:00) They drop as Cursed. To become Blessed you need the Blessing of Snowflake and Soul Fragments, and Ritual Items (expensive from item shop only as credit sink).the Blessing of Snowflake is a drop almost as rare as a Curse piece itself. Cursed will have great stats, but with great stats comes great random debunks or other detrimental things.
Once Blessed and Awakened they can have fun bonus stats such as auto-cast protection or other quality of life stats. These of course won't be known until the equipment becomes Awakened.
Awakening requires an exorbitant amount of Soul Shards due to the gluttony of the item, as well as more Ritual Items, an amount of Awakening Item Worlds (one clear per day at a set difficulty that will be challenging), and of course, another Blessing of Snowflake.
Of course it will be worth it for a small increase in stats.
Sorry bout that. Replace Awakened with Mythic. After Mythic it is Awakened. This requires even more Soul Shards, Ritual Items, and Awakening Item Worlds, and multiple Blessings of Snowflake. What makes this special is it merges multiple Mythic items into one, and you can add mythic items on to Awakened items (more expensive than doing it all in one go). This gives a small bonus to the stats, as well as allowing multi-prefix (how that works tbd) and multi-suffix (best roll of the two). Should allow more grindiness for goodies!

Man, you lost me, and that sounds expensive af, but I have to say, all this talking about new qualities for equipment makes me want it to be real, even though I know it won't happen since many would be angry about this hypothetic scenario where their equipment isn't the best and having to spend more to get the new best

Just need to get a majority of people on board. Just means more work for me in the end though. People won't be angry. They will just have something more to strive for. Perfect potentates, more stat boosts, lots more to go out and try to achieve. QUOTE(RoadShoe @ Mar 4 2017, 02:45) Wait... is this like really in the works? wow, so it's in the works QUOTE(skillchip @ Mar 3 2017, 19:53)

this part had me thinking something, how about sacrificing one piece of equipment to another of its same quality and type to gain "awakening" points until that piece of equipment becomes a +1 quality, like sacrificing mag power helmets to another mag power helmet until it becomes a leg one? or sacrificing the same type with the same suffix to transport 1 stat to another piece? ex: a leg rapier of slaughter has 95% ADB but bad PABs and parry so you transfer the 95% ADB to another leg rapier of slaughter with good PABs but bad ADB

Well personally, I like the idea. It sounds like it'll be pure hell to code though. But... not my world! I'll stick to FactoryTalk. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm glad there's people around like you that can pull that kind of stuff off. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

this is a great idea, nimble, balance and suffixes other than slaughter will finally worth something.

for a moment i read "astral" (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(yami_zetsu @ Mar 4 2017, 05:27) wow, so it's in the works this part had me thinking something, how about sacrificing one piece of equipment to another of its same quality and type to gain "awakening" points until that piece of equipment becomes a +1 quality, like sacrificing mag power helmets to another mag power helmet until it becomes a leg one?

more likely the second option. i cannot think of it as something overall cheaper than purchasing a peerless though.

Sacrificing many pieces of unneeded equipment (not necessary of the same type) to get points, level up and improve the ones you use would be nice. Higher quality equips should require much more points to get new levels and sacrificing higher quality equips gets more points while you would need an obscene amount of low tier equips to level up a good one. Finally all those trash Peerless would have a use so that people wouldn't be so disappointed after getting one. They would be quickly bought and expended. Same with trash Legendaries, though you'd need much more of them. Something like this:

I don't think there will be a quality beyond peerless. It would defy the peerless' having all the stats maxed. Tweaking the ranges maybe. Special upgrades maybe. But a new quality...no.

I wish they would go back to making more Ikusa Megami instead of trying to score the next Kamidori.

If you have endgame gear already, perfect IWs, all the perks and everything else, why not? If not, value your priorities.

Well, you can always salvage it and get back 90% of (what you have spent -450k) so why not. I would do it if I had the credits (and a radiant phase).
