I asked because I thought you're using elec. So if your best setup is fire, how's the Dragonskin's survival?

Not a Problem. Only some trained ones manage to stay alive but no problem for a tier 1 frost spell. 10% extra damage from perks are nice (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) This post has been edited by Ichy: Apr 15 2011, 21:21

My next point in STR costs 9240 Crystals... You know what is the most fun about this? Her STR can be increased 11 more times after this (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Not sure it they're upgraded or not, too lazy to check. The 50% resistant ones will start surviving on BT (some of them, depends on HP/upgrade status maybe?).

I mostly play hell because it takes hardly more time then a normal run. Only some resistant mobs (depend on my current setup) stay alive but insta die when i clear them away with a second element. If you really want to piss me off you need to grind all 4 elemental resistances (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

(True Story) Have been playing HV as melee for about a year and a half now (I'm not really play HV much, though) ... And today is my first time to have a taste how IA would be like! My thought? "WTF!? Isn't this too fucking convenient and OP?!** This is bullshit!" (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) ...... And this is just LV.1 IA (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) ... Well, while it does give me a sense of guilt using it, its not really that bad. Unlike when I tried maging in the past (yes, I did. 2 times to be precise). I still remember that one horrified night very clearly (I'm serious) .... "Oh god... The Terror! no... no more! It Burns!" .. (IMG:[ bbs.pramool.com] http://bbs.pramool.com/webboard/pic/80.gif) ** It's not. It just my feeling at the moment... This post has been edited by buktore: Apr 16 2011, 14:16

QUOTE(buktore @ Apr 15 2011, 23:51) "WTF!? Isn't this too fucking convenient and OP?! And that's why IA is my favorite Hath Perk, and I got all 4 ranks as soon as it came out. It's hax as hell having all 4 supportive spells going all the time for only 2.5MP per turn, and automatically raising my supportive prof for me. I've got 2 levels of IA and whenever I can I'll recast the spells with channeling. That little bit of mana is still adds up over time. The best part of IA is just not taking the time to cast them at the start of a run.

Oh yeah, I do the same thing when I've got excess Channeling procs. I've actually done the math on whether it's worthwhile to cast the cheapest non-damaging spell that can proc Channeling on an ET'd monster (Weaken), just to get free turns of a supportive spell. And because of the relatively low chance to proc Channeling, it's not worth it in the long run if you've got IA 4.

Thanks, that helped me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The sad news is that I have at least upgrade 40 levels of elec, I was expecting only 30-35 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) QUOTE(Ichy @ Apr 16 2011, 06:51) I mostly play hell because it takes hardly more time then a normal run. Upgrade 4 of them? Unlikely, fire already cost 230c, and I even didn't upgraded any point of it yet. This post has been edited by cmdct: Apr 16 2011, 16:14

QUOTE(Conquest101 @ Apr 16 2011, 15:18) Sooo, Ethereal Katanas soon? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Of Ponies, Puffy Clouds and Unicorns. Come to think of it, I haven't seen that suffix much. Another bug, perhaps?

More accuracy. And Niten, if you care to use it. For high LV folks like yourself... Scythes may be the best. At my LV, though, it still whiff way too much... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

QUOTE(Ichy @ Apr 16 2011, 19:48) Damn. I wish I had time to play and find one. I could make a fortune auctioning it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm not sure about that... but I bet you would, for a certain Eth Swordchucks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
